Yo....his comments about this judge is completely out of line. Did anybody see the full interview?

Wow.

I did see the entire interview and yup, he's out of line.

He's a Narcissist. Some of the traits he displays fit perfectly

Such as:
According to the DSM-5, individuals with NPD have most or all of the following symptoms, typically without commensurate qualities or accomplishments:[4][7]

Grandiosity with expectations of superior treatment from others
Fixated on fantasies of power, success, intelligence, attractiveness, etc.
Self-perception of being unique, superior and associated with high-status people and institutions
Needing constant admiration from others
Sense of entitlement to special treatment and to obedience from others
Exploitative of others to achieve personal gain
Unwilling to empathize with others' feelings, wishes, or needs
Intensely jealous of others and the belief that others are equally jealous of them
Pompous and arrogant demeanor

His comments are totally out of line.. on the other hand, they are very smart. He is setting up the defense for "I can't get a fair trial".. I don't know whether to laugh or cry but the "I've insulted so many people that I can't get a fair trial" is kind of brilliant. rofl

He would have been better off if he had said that the judge was a member of La Raza. Seeing as they're the latino version of the KKK, it would have come off better.

You wanna know what's worse about this whole situation, I will bet you $100 right now that if he lost the election, he'll go to court to fight the results. Guarantee he'll say that votes weren't counted or some other crazy thing.

The dude is off his rocker...

He made racist comments with Monica? I didn't see that press coverage. I must be late to the game.

No racists comments, but why should racists comments mean more than sexists comments?

Several months ago a UK paper was so flabbergasted by Trump that they speculated he was actually planted by the Dems to destroy the Republican party all together.

When he says things like this I just sometimes have to wonder if he is doing everything he can to NOT be voted. Yet, people still continue to support him. Unbelievable. Why on earth would anybody say this let alone a politician in the most multicultural country on earth? Does he have a brain?

This is absolutely outrageous and as Americans we should never, ever want this guy to be our President. The world continues to laugh at us and shake its head in disbelief.

Looks like Clinton got the delegate count to secure nomination. BBC app buzzed on my phone.

The problem is this:

1. If she loses CA will Delegates begin to feel shaky?
2. Does Bernie do the honorable thing (which he should have done several weeks ago) and concede and begin to rally his supporters to support HRC in order to defeat Trump?

Is Cali a win all state? If they aren't, then she just needs some of the delegates to win.

Also, it'll be interesting with the sanders supporters.

Conservatives are saying if trump is the nominee, they staying home. Got liberals saying if Bernie ISNT the nominee, they staying home.

So that means we got extreme right vs moderate left supporters voting.

It would be amazing to be a campaign analysts this election cycle, speaking from a purely competitive standpoint.

It is my understanding that no state in the Democratic primaries/caucuses is "winner take all". Only the Republicans have that rule and they have to win over 50% (I believe).

So, even if he wins CA she will still get delegates. But, it could give the superdelegates a bit of a worry.

NJ, MD also voting as are a couple smaller delegate states (MT etc.).

I think she wins NJ and MD. CA will be interesting as it is the most populated state in the nation and the other two west coast states went for Sanders.

It's not a reach at all to say that Bill views women as sexual objects and has zero regard for them beyond that... and Hillary defended him every step of the way... The same Hillary that said women who allege sexual assault from men should be believed and given the benefit of the doubt.

Lol, if trump had any sort of Latino support, that just went out the window.

An embattled Donald Trump urgently rallied his most visible supporters to defend his attacks on a federal judge's Mexican ancestry during a conference call on Monday in which he ordered them to question the judge's credibility and impugn reporters as racists.

"We will overcome," Trump said, according to two supporters who were on the call and requested anonymity to share their notes with Bloomberg Politics. "And I’ve always won and I’m going to continue to win. And that’s the way it is."

There was no mention of apologizing or backing away from his widely criticized remarks about U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel, who is overseeing cases against the Trump University real-estate program.

When former Arizona Governor Jan Brewer interrupted the discussion to inform Trump that his own campaign had asked surrogates to stop talking about the lawsuit in an e-mail on Sunday, Trump repeatedly demanded to know who sent the memo, and immediately overruled his staff.

"Take that order and throw it the hell out," Trump said.

Told the memo was sent by Erica Freeman, a staffer who circulates information to surrogates, Trump said he didn't know her. He openly questioned how the campaign could defend itself if supporters weren't allowed to talk.

"Are there any other stupid letters that were sent to you folks?" Trump said. "That's one of the reasons I want to have this call, because you guys are getting sometimes stupid information from people that aren't so smart."

Brewer, who was on the call with prominent Republicans like Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi and former Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown, interjected again. "You all better get on the page," she told him.

In response, Trump said that he aspired to hold regular calls with surrogates in order to coordinate the campaign's message, a role usually reserved for lower ranking staffers than the nominee himself.

The e-mailed memo, sent by Freeman on Sunday, was cc'd to campaign manager Corey Lewandowski; Hope Hicks, Trump's top communications staffer; and Rick Gates, a top aide to campaign chairman Paul Manafort. It informed surrogates that "they're not authorized to discuss matters concerning the Trump Organization including corporate news such as the Trump University case.”

"The best possible response is ‘the case will be tried in the courtroom in front of a jury—not in the media,’” according to the e-mail, obtained by Bloomberg Politics.

Hicks declined to address the specifics of the conversation with surrogates.

"The call was scheduled in order for Mr. Trump to thank his supporters and congratulate everyone as the primaries officially come to an end," Hicks told Bloomberg Politics. "Many topics were discussed and it was a productive call for all parties."

Trump's five weeks as the presumptive nominee have been marked by several missteps: A refusal to release his tax returns, confusion among donors over which super-PAC to give money, audio of him using a pseudonym to act as his own publicist, failing to donate to veterans groups as promised until pressed by the media.

But the most incendiary controversy has been his handling of Trump University.

Trump ignited the controversy when he defended his real-estate program by saying Curiel has an inherent conflict of interest because of his Mexican heritage, because the candidate has proposed building a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border to curb illegal immigration. Curiel was born in Indiana, and Trump's complaint has been criticized by Republican leaders, legal experts, and other commentators. Trump on Sunday broadened his argument by saying on CBS that it’s possible a Muslim judge could treat him unfairly too, because of his proposed ban on Muslim immigration.

"I should have won this thing years ago," Trump said on the call about the case, adding that Curiel is a "member of La Raza." Curiel is affiliated with La Raza Lawyers of California, a Latino bar association.

A clearly irritated Trump told his supporters to attack journalists who ask questions about the lawsuit and his comments about the judge.

"The people asking the questions—those are the racists," Trump said. "I would go at 'em."

Suggesting a broader campaign against the media, Trump said the campaign should also actively criticize television reporters. "I'd let them have it," he said, referring to those who Trump portrayed as hypocrites.

Adds comment from Hope Hicks in paragraph 13.

It will be very interesting watching HRC and the DNC establishment realize that the majority of Bernie supporters will never vote for HRC. She has been demonized to them for so long that she seems as bad or maybe even the worst choice for Potus.

If conservatives were behaving at Hillary stops the way liberals are behaving at Trump stops there would be a national outrage. Instead, liberals have taken to victim blaming and appeasement of violent protesters.

If I vote for a Presidential candidate in this election I will at the very least feel the need for a long shower afterward, if not a soul cleansing bottle of very strong bourbon.

Sheriff David Clarke: Well, this is premeditated organized violence and these are riot-makers that show up at these events. What the mayor said was obviously ridiculous. But, Sean what I’m ticked off about right now is why Attorney General Loretta Lynch has not dispatched the FBI and dispatched lawyers from the Civil Rights Division to investigate and prosecute and identify people who are using the same type of tactics that were used in the Jim Crow south to frighten and intimidate blacks from participating in the voting process. That’s why this is done to strike fear and intimidation in the hearts of these people who want to come and hear the candidate of their choice. This is constitutionally protected. This is a Civil Rights violation and they are entitled to that same equal rights protection under the law as anybody else or any of the other protected class. It appears to me that the United States Department of Justice doesn’t care what happening because these people are white and they’re Trump supporters.

I don't really remember "liberals" doing this in past elections to protest a conservative candidate (not that anyone is fooled, Trump isn't conservative) So for me, it seems more like a protest against Trump directly.

That doesn't make it right.

In fact, given Trumps entire campaign strategy, it would not surprise me to find that he paid those folks to protest. That's the kind of thing I'd totally expect from him.

Actually you're at a tourist destination. People from all over the country go to Dollywood on vacation. It's not really representative of the south and most certainly does not capture the overall feelings of the south and most certainly not the deep south.

I live just southwest of Nashville and it's the same here. People have moved here from all over the country. I meet more people who have moved here than grown up here.

I worked in Alabama and Georgia for a good while in the 80's and let me tell you that where you're at compared to there is night and day.

I don't really care who they are protesting against "directly".. they are getting violent at a political rally with people who are there to support a candidate. You are starting to sound like Hillary, who said:

"He created an environment in which it seemed to be acceptable for someone running for president to be inciting violence, to be encouraging his supporters. Now we are seeing people who are against him responding in kind." Translation, they started it so they deserve it. That's presidential. thumbsup

Then there is the mayor of San Jose, CA who said:

"At some point Donald Trump needs to take responsibility for the irresponsible behavior of his campaign. It is regrettable that this has become a pattern for cities hosting Trump events." Another official who refuses to place any blame what so ever on the people actually being violent. Trump needs to take responsibility, violent demonstrators do not. Well done. thumbsup

Then there is this from the San Jose newspaper article about the event:

"While several physical assaults did occur, the police personnel on the scene had the difficult task of weighing the need to immediately apprehend the suspects against the possibility that police action involving the use of physical force under the circumstances would further [incite] the crowd and produce more violent behavior." Translation: We didn't arrest the people starting the fights because that might have made the mob mad and then who knows what would have happened so we just let the violence go. Another kudos to this group. thumbsup

That's a pretty bold accusation with little more than your gut feeling to use as evidence. However there is evidence of democratic groups paying protesters and agitators to attend..

Most people don't hate Bernie, they just don't like his politics. Plus they have pretty much accepted that he lost. It doesn't surprise me that there isn't more of a reaction to a Bernie shirt. Heck I wouldn't vote for Bernie in a million years but I've still commented jovially to people wearing Bernie T-shirts....
