no question lbj has no love for curry Oddly enough, both were born in Akron, Ohio. Granted a few years apart. Curry and GS bagged on the Cavs last year, I think a lot of this might have been a bit of payback. Not sure.

Tipping my hat to the City of Cleveland and to the Cleveland fans. The City and the fans have been waiting 52 years to celebrate, to enjoy being the Champs again, and unlike most cities and fans over the last 20 years we celebrated without tearing the town apart, setting cars on fire or destroying them, rioting. Cleveland fans celebrated with class after the win, and all day long yesterday. It was also great to see about 400,000 fans show up in Pittsburgh to watch the Pens parade be dwarfed by the 1.3 million that showed up to watch the Cavs parade. I am proud once again to see Cleveland fans proving that we are the best sports fans in the world

You just know Lebron was waiting for this particular moment: Curry, MVP? Homie don't think so, it's Lebron!

LBJ can't do a victory speech in front of who knows how many kids without dropping F-bombs? Hate to rain on the parade, but that's classless. It's unscripted, unrated and the players have been drinking, a lot. I've watched quite a few parades the past few years and it's VERY common for the players to curse on stage. I was thinking about driving out there with my kid. I wouldn't have been upset because I would have known it was coming. I'm not mocking you, maybe you didn't know this is how these go, but they do.

I'm just glad love showed up when it mattered. I don't know how things are in the locker room and I know a lot of people believe he will be traded. I'm still of the opinion that we should keep him and spend the offseason developing a plan that uses him better, both in the post and as a pick and pop guy. I still think he can be incredibly valuable if we can use him correctly. And part of that involves us moving the ball more consistently.

Tons and tons of kids in the crowd there. C'mon LBJ... Ive never seen you needing to be censored before, and it was disappointing to see all the swearing on live TV and etc. Bad moment to decide you want to cuss like a sailor, because its was more than fbombs.
Little classless but nothing that isn't forgivable.

I think the biggest thing with him is he seems like he is afraid to shoot at times, especially if he misses his first shot.

Yep, RTA transit is complete overwhelmed too. They should've prepared better for this. They should've knew the attendance would've been astronomical! The city is alive right now. If we were an v8 engine, we'd have four turbos and four superchargers driving the life-force.
Again, I'm so damn proud of the Cavs and our city! Live it to the max, guys!! I waited in line at an RTA station for 2+ hours and the line was barely moving. And that was just one station! In their defense, the system isn't equipped to handle that level of traffic. A train with 1 car? When the trains were showing up to the station, they were already packed. So we bailed, headed back to the car and just weaved our way closer to downtown. Got a spot on a lawn between E22nd and 24th near the St Vincent Charity center. About a 10 walk to E9th and we were golden for the parade start. Easy to leave too. Traffic going down 77S was moving. I cannot even fathom how long those lines were downtown for people trying to get back onto the RTA trains.

I walked into the Terminal Tower right after the parade ended; thought I could maybe find a small line to get something to east. The line to get down to the rapid sat still, and I never moved past that wall of people. I overheard someone say "they're climbing up and down walls to get to the train station!" as I walked out.

He's got the networks cringing that's for sure! Delivering the F bombs. Funny as heck! Instead of "the big fella", I wonder if AC's going to now refer to Moz as "the big mother f'er"

I watched that replay of game 7 tonight. There were a few other interesting things (other than the big 3) that stood out that were important in determining the outcome. Ezeli fouling Lebron for 3 shots when GS was up 4 in the 4th, and Lebron draining all 3...it really seemed like GS was going to make a run at that point. Curry whiffing on that behind the back pass. The score was tied at 89 with damn near 5 minutes left in the game. Has GS gone that long without scoring this entire season? Some great D was played in that stretch, neither Curry nor Klay could buy an inch of space. I think if Lebron would have converted that slam at the end to ice the game, that would have completely overshadowed the block or Kyrie's shot as the defining moment of the game.
Lebron really disrespected Curry the whole game. After that block it almost got ugly. Even when he helped him up after the collision, it wasn't as polite as I first thought. He really jerked him up and glared at him while he did it...then the timely pat on the arse. Yea, when he pulled him up I thought he pulled him up really hard, and purposely. P.S. Curry looked like a boy whenever he was next to Lebron!

It's such a non discussed topic or highlight, but one of the biggest keys to the game. People want to chat about the monster block and of course the three, but that play there deserves recognition!

I remember a few years ago, there were a few posters that wanted us to take Jeremy Lamb in the draft. Well, there's this: Adrian Wojnarowski ✔ @WojVerticalNBA Sources: Charlotte's offering No. 22 - if team will take contract of Spencer Hawes or Jeremy Lamb. Hornets need space to re-sign free agents
So if Gilbert wants to eat some more luxury tax, we could get Lamb AND the No. 22 pick!

I have also heard this, about possibly trading Love. Not saying I have an opinion one way or another. But, let's say we do look to move him. What are some realistic scenarios? What team, what do we get in return? Or would moving him to clear space for some FA be more likely?

We are too far over the salary cap to get FA's, so unless we trade him in some sort of sign-and-trade, then FA's are out of the question.
No idea who we could get though. It depends on the organization. Boston might trade us a bunch of spare parts. New York might trade us Carmelo Anthony. So, it's tough to tell.

In the 2017 draft, I really want Nigel Hayes of Wisconsin. If Caris Levert goes undrafted, I'd love to sign him.

So Lebron ends his hometown rally with this: "Cleveland's last championship was 50-some-odd years ago. Guess what? It took a kid from Akron to end it. Thank you." So is he talking about himself? Or Curry choking it away in Game 7?

Cavaliers Select Kay Felder with 54th Pick By Trevor Magnotti  @IllegalScreens on Jun 23, 2016, 11:30p http://www.fearthesword.com/2016/6/23/12022790/cavaliers-select-kay-felder-with-54th-pick The Cleveland Cavaliers didn't have a draft pick heading into the 2016 NBA Draft. That didn't stop the Cavs from being active, however, and they went searching for a 2nd round pick, eventually agreeing to buy the 54th pick from the Atlanta Hawks, and drafting Kay Felder, the point guard from Oakland University: Shams Charania ✔ @ShamsCharania Cleveland is drafting Oakland guard Kay Felder with the No. 54 pick, buying it from Hawks, sources tell The Vertical. Explosive PG. Jonathan Givony ‏@DraftExpress The Cavs purchased the #54 pick (Kay Felder) in the draft for 2.4 million. Hefty price so late. Shows you how much teams value these picks. Felder was one of the players I suggested could be in play if the Cavs grabbed a pick, and if you paid attention to college basketball this winter, you could see why they might be interested. Felder led a strong Oakland team through some early-season upsets, and was one of college basketball's most entertaining players, averaging 24.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 9.3 assists for the 23-12 Grizzlies. Felder is more of an offensively-based prospect, which makes sense given that he's just 5'10". Felder's best attributes are his ability to finish and get to the line, and his intensity on defense. Felder shot 8.8 free throw attempts per 40 minutes, and he's great at absorbing contact and passing in space, two things that will greatly help him offensively at the next level. He's also a skilled off-ball defender, and excels in transition defense, where he can use timing and surprising strength to contest shots on the break. However, Felder is obviously limited, or else he wouldn't be available this low. Felder's three-point shooting is inconsistent, as he hit just 35.5 percent from outside . Part of this could be due to volume (6.7 attempts per game) but he's never been that good and his form is inconsistent. Defensively, he has obvious drawbacks, given his combination of short stature and suboptimal quickness. Felder will almost certainly be playing in Canton next year, and this is likely a long-term play by the Cavs to address their potential need for point guard depth. With Matthew Dellavedova a free agent, and Mo Williams not getting any younger, the Cavs need to explore options to potentially fill in behind Kyrie Irving. They now have three, with Felder, Jordan McRae, and D-League Rookie of the Year Quinn Cook in place. Welcome to Cleveland, Kay!

Is Kay going to be Delly's replacement? I believe so. He's short, but more athletic and can do everything Della could coming out of college. He can become a very good #2 point guard with development. If he replaces Della, we had a good draft.

I think we all learned something last night. Don't just keep building up assests or you'll end up like Boston. A bunch of mehhh guys and no true game changer.
This was a weak draft and Danny Ainge tried to hype up his picks. Nobody wanted them.

Yeah, I am pretty shocked at what Boston did leading up to and through the draft.
I thought they would have turned some of those assets into tangible results.
