Aww, I was sort of hoping TT would kiss Allie. He was naturally good on the mic.

Derrick Rose to the Knicks The Knicks and Bulls have agreed to a deal that will send former All-Star point guard Derrick Rose to New York, sources told ESPN. The Knicks are sending center Robin Lopez, guard Jose Calderon and guard Jerian Grant to Chicago, which is shipping guard Justin Holiday, Rose and a 2017 second-round pick back to New York, sources said.

RJ says he'll do one more year, after the crowd bullies him into it. LOL. Loved the "One more year!" chant. Loved even more that RJ said he'll come back next year.

I remember, right after the game they interviewed him and ABC blanked out half of his opening comments. I figured someone in the background was probably screaming out expletives. I guess it was just him. LOL

ha Bobbleheads designed for the Cavs championship run are selling faster than any previous title-winning bobblehead for any team in any sport......hope noone doubts cleveland fans any longer, this will probably only be topped by a browns super bowl..but man 1.3 million people at a parade...the sheer logistics of that. When you think there is only 400k living in cleveland, to have 3x that occupying a parade route at one time

Ha! I actually bought a bobblehead Lebron with a Championship trophy, only to realize it's going to be a gaudy 8' tall. Also realized they had a JR Smith bobblehead too, and I probably should of gone with that one. This is what I get for quick-buying everything.

I might've heard them from the side of Progressive Field. No big police response or anything, yet.
LeBron would be banned here in the board.

I streamed it 2500 miles away via Fox 8 Cleveland. Superb to see and I wish I was there.
LeBron probably could have chosen better words there were a lot of kids there as well as it being on live TV but, it is what it is and he kept it real & honest.
The Tribe playing tonight too. Cleveland finally is on top of the world. I think I can see the Terminal Tower peeking over Mt. Hood from her in Portland!
All of you folks over there....have fun, stay safe and enjoy the moment!

Cavs Bandwagon Starter Set
Brand new Kyrie Irving Jersey To show that you supported the team even when LeBron wasn't there..
Brand new Cavs Championship hat
Brand new old school Cavs Orange and Blue shirt Because you're actually a lifelong fan, from the before times.. You know, that Mark Elo guy who MJ dunked on?

I watched that replay of game 7 tonight. There were a few other interesting things (other than the big 3) that stood out that were important in determining the outcome. Ezeli fouling Lebron for 3 shots when GS was up 4 in the 4th, and Lebron draining all 3...it really seemed like GS was going to make a run at that point. Curry whiffing on that behind the back pass. The score was tied at 89 with damn near 5 minutes left in the game. Has GS gone that long without scoring this entire season? Some great D was played in that stretch, neither Curry nor Klay could buy an inch of space. I think if Lebron would have converted that slam at the end to ice the game, that would have completely overshadowed the block or Kyrie's shot as the defining moment of the game.
Lebron really disrespected Curry the whole game. After that block it almost got ugly. Even when he helped him up after the collision, it wasn't as polite as I first thought. He really jerked him up and glared at him while he did it...then the timely pat on the arse.

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

He took a HUGE shot on Curry during the presser. He said "TWO TIME MVP" in reference to Curry during the rally.

So highlights of the parade: - JR Smith leading the parade of players standing on the top of a pickup truck, shirtless and holding court. - Kevin Love complaining to Allie that he had to be behind the Delly car, so now all he's heard all day was "Delly! Delly!" - The speech by the county commissioner was a bit of a low-light. Total trash-talking the Warriors and not even being crafty about it. I was cringing and so were Shump and JR in the background. - Not familiar with the Mayor, maybe he's more charismatic in other forums, but he kind of looked like your uncle that awkwardly stands up at Christmas and gives a quick speech before handing out his presents. - Tristan Thompson grabs the mic from Allie during the parade and totally plays to the crowd. Then he gets up on stage and says 5 words. - RJ getting chants to play one more year, so he acquiesces and agrees to do it. LOL - Channing Frye dropping the mic. - Lebron giving a really heartfelt, eloquent speech, individually thanking each teammate and telling everyone why they we a great part of the team ... while still sliding in an s-bomb or f-bomb every 60 seconds. Edit: Completely forgot about the Griff moment! Griff referred to our own three historic plays as "The Block", "The Three" and ... "The D" ... which got everyone on stage giggling like little school boys, and JR Smith looking around like, "What did I do??"

LBJ can't do a victory speech in front of who knows how many kids without dropping F-bombs? Hate to rain on the parade, but that's classless.

I listened to a podcast of the really big show, and they made it sound like the parade was a total failure, saying how the parade was stopped, and it might get cancelled? They were talking about how there were no barricades on e 9th St?
I'm confused, what were they talking about? They were even talking about leaving their broadcast and going back to their station because it was so dangerous?

What I saw on the stream was that the crowd totally covered the street and they were using mounted police to open a space for the cars to fit through. Other places it seemed they had barriers. Probably not the smartest plan, they needed more barriers and police. But they were only expecting 500k people.

It's almost like we don't know how to plan for a Championship parade or something.
I thought the parade was fine. Just took a little longer than expected to squeeze a couple semis through 1.3 million people.

So Cavs/Knicks is the new East fight.
That is until Rose gets hurt after the 5th game.
Chicago and Atlanta seem to be in total blow it up mode.. maybe not a bad plan.. start now and maybe LeBron will retire by the time you're good again..

Probably not the smartest plan, they needed more barriers and police. But they were only expecting 500k people. In some ways I agree, the plan could have been better, but they had 2 days and that was more than 3 times the City's population. Fights were minimal, only 1 major incident, 45 separated kids all successfully returned to their parents...all in all, I thought it was a decent job, logistically speaking. Hopefully some lessons were learned for next month.
