I thought that they had already used the Varejao trade exemption on Dunleavy. (part of it, anyway)
I see no sense is using the newest (and soonest to expire) trade exemption 1st. They couldn't use the Delly exemption, because it wasn't enough to cover the contract of Dunleavy. You can only use a TE if it is more than the contract of the guy you are bringing in. So they had to use the Varejao TE.

Ezeli got exposed in the Finals when Bogut went out. Add a bum knee and he doesn't get nearly as much as many others.
