That trophy should be called the Paul Brown trophy.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/now-stone-cold-proof-trump-163241983.htmlSo kasich would've been to Trump, what Cheney was to Bush. The real puppet master.

Beck had an interesting observation about that today. He said that Trump does t actually want the job of president, he just wants to be president.
So Kasich would've been the president behind the scenes much more than Cheney was.

Well as long as Kasich isn't as blood thirsty as Cheney was, then it's whatever I suppose.
IF, and only IF this is true, why play games? I mean, trump says he's gonna sign everything over once he's president, but man, he's certainly pimping out his products heavy in the mean time.
I mean, I don't blame him. But I always have to wonder if he's doing this simply to get his brand up?

I really don't know, I gotta wonder if he didn't do this just to play spoiler so he could clear the way for Hillary. Knowing what we know about his background, can you imagine the dirt that's going to be flying back and forth once this thing kicks into full swing?

from a purely entertainment perspective, this is gonna be amazing. I'm trying to catch all that action on Twitter and such.
from a pure "state of the nation" perspective? i should probably not be on Facebook. cause my international friends are gonna clown this country non stop, and i really don't wanna hear it.
the divide these two are gonna cause leading up election day. bro...i'm worried that it won't be reversible.

I've thought long and hard about this and the conclusion I've come to is that whatever they do in Washington to try to pit us against each other when it comes down to it should the sht hit the fan won't affect us as much as we think.
We all get really passionate on our social media outlets and we truly believe what we do and stand by it-but we're all NEIGHBORS.
And as long as we remember that, we'll be fine.

like...i really feel like no matter who wins between the two, we all lose.
i feel like since 9/11, relations between americans has just.....split. in a broad sense, if you will.
we didn't unite after that bro. maybe the first couple months. but after that? man every demographic has been pointing the finger at anything that goes against their beliefs.
on the dem side, if you aren't in line with being pro...well, everything, you get flamed.
if you aren't anti- everything from the republican side, you get flamed.
hell, conservatives got a whole special name for people who are center-right. RINO's.
bipartisan? lolololol. get that weak crap outta here. can't be bipartisan anymore.
there's no such thing as grey areas in our politics anymore. no such thing as compromise.
bruh, we got politicians who actively campaign against being bipartisan.
and what's worse, we got citizens cheering that nonsense on.
we got politicians EXCITED about raising taxes. the hell? i mean damn, did they forget what this country was partly founded on? no taxation without freakin representation.
we got politicians actively trying to screw this planet up. deregulate absolutely everything in the name of the almighty dollar.
i could go on and on. and that's just our government.
at our level, we got a brand new race war, which-and im sorry bro- started as soon as obama got into office.
the birther movement? bro i never witnessed anything like that in my life. i had a soldier from the south come up to me like "yo, you know your boy ain't even legal"
like...are you serious?
we got religions going back and forth with each other. i mean wtf is a westboro baptist church? wtf is a muslim..uh..whatever the hell they call themselves. that organization or whatever.
we got a massive problem with opiates. i don't understand why it's such a huge problem, but VERY LITTLE media coverage about it?
our suicide rates. shot up. overdoses. shot up. abuse. shot up.
did you know we live in one of, if not THE most sedated country on this planet?
So i dunno bro, but i look at these two candidates running, and you know what? we absolutely deserve them.
people wanna talk about strong family values. high moral character. respecting others and being united.
how in the HELL did Trump emerge from that? that man is literally the opposite of all that. how?
people wanna talk about not trusting the government. holding politicians accountable. getting the money out of politics.
and yet, clinton is the person that came from that? how? HOW?
i don't get it bro. thats why i say all the time. i'm not sure if people actually know what they want.
we deserver this clowns, because we can't get right at our level. we've let so many outside influences destroy us.
we got drug overdoes, race relation issues, political issues, job problems.
yet somehow, someway, we decided that some idiots 3000 + miles away living in mud huts are our biggest threat?
HOW?
and Ted, we allowed these idiots, since 9/11, to change who we are as a country. so i look around and i'm like....we aren't tolerant of anything lately.
everybody has beef with everybody bro. So trump clinton is happening, because WE allowed it to happen.

After that introduction from whatever Trump child that was,
His speech is going to be "huge".
The whole thing is enough to make me vote for the other guys. (I dislike pomp and circumstance, or coronations for questionable if any merit.)

I really find it quite funny that Ivanka and Donald are talking about diversity and such while the Q is looking like an Aryan nation rally.
all i see is blonde hair blue eyed everywhere. but diversity. yea. i guess dirty blond and green eyes count too.

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

I thought the line of the speech was when he said that he appreciated the support of the Evangelicals, and that he wasn't sure he always deserved it.
I think that was huge, and made him seem less egotistical.
He promised a lot. We'll see if he can deliver, if he wins.

I think that he reached out to both of those communities. We;'ll see if he is able to peel away any support in those areas.

He spoke directly to them about jobs, and why certain policies have failed them. He spoke about school choice for those in failing schools. Here are some direct quotes: http://www.politico.com/story/2016/07/fu...4#ixzz4F6kX6jv3 "Decades of progress made in bringing down crime are now being reversed by this Administration’s rollback of criminal enforcement. Homicides last year increased by 17% in America’s fifty largest cities. That’s the largest increase in 25 years. In our nation’s capital, killings have risen by 50 percent. They are up nearly 60% in nearby Baltimore. In the President’s hometown of Chicago, more than 2,000 have been the victims of shootings this year alone. And more than 3,600 have been killed in the Chicago area since he took office." "Again, I will tell you the plain facts that have been edited out of your nightly news and your morning newspaper: Nearly Four in 10 African-American children are living in poverty, while 58% of African American youth are not employed. 2 million more Latinos are in poverty today than when the President took his oath of office less than eight years ago. Another 14 million people have left the workforce entirely. Household incomes are down more than $4,000 since the year 2000. Our manufacturing trade deficit has reached an all-time high – nearly $800 billion in a single year. The budget is no better. President Obama has doubled our national debt to more than $19 trillion, and growing. Yet, what do we have to show for it? Our roads and bridges are falling apart, our airports are in Third World condition, and forty-three million Americans are on food stamps." "This Administration has failed America’s inner cities. It’s failed them on education. It’s failed them on jobs. It’s failed them on crime. It’s failed them at every level. When I am President, I will work to ensure that all of our kids are treated equally, and protected equally. Every action I take, I will ask myself: does this make life better for young Americans in Baltimore, Chicago, Detroit, Ferguson who have as much of a right to live out their dreams as any other child America?" "An amendment, pushed by Lyndon Johnson, many years ago, threatens religious institutions with a loss of their tax-exempt status if they openly advocate their political views. I am going to work very hard to repeal that language and protect free speech for all Americans." (which should appeal to Black Christians, who fear not being able to preach their beliefs) There are examples.
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

like...i really feel like no matter who wins between the two, we all lose.
Yep.
i feel like since 9/11, relations between americans has just.....split. in a broad sense, if you will.
I think the Iraq war helped that along.
we didn't unite after that bro. maybe the first couple months. but after that? man every demographic has been pointing the finger at anything that goes against their beliefs.
on the dem side, if you aren't in line with being pro...well, everything, you get flamed.
if you aren't anti- everything from the republican side, you get flamed.
Well, ya can't blame a person for being passionate about what they believe. One thing I learned (actually from being online and arguing my point was about how I was defending my faith more like I was in the smack shack than sharing the love of God in a humble manner. I've not toned down my conviction, but I have toned down my presentation.
hell, conservatives got a whole special name for people who are center-right. RINO's.
Well, if you're going to campaign as a con and legislate as a dem...
bipartisan? lolololol. get that weak crap outta here. can't be bipartisan anymore.
Truth!
there's no such thing as grey areas in our politics anymore. no such thing as compromise.
I think this might have to do with the size of government, there are so many laws now all the grey has been legislated out. But it does keep the 24 hour news cycle going don't it?
bruh, we got politicians who actively campaign against being bipartisan.
The campaign on it, but then...
and what's worse, we got citizens cheering that nonsense on.
Again, Truth!
we got politicians EXCITED about raising taxes. the hell? i mean damn, did they forget what this country was partly founded on? no taxation without freakin representation.
Of course they did!
we got politicians actively trying to screw this planet up. deregulate absolutely everything in the name of the almighty dollar.
There has to be a balance, being in the industry I'm in I can't even buy certain paints anymore because of their 'environmental' impact. Years ago, the EPA gave two different stain manufacturers to do one of three things-1) Change the way you make your material, 2)Stop making it or 3) Pay a big fine and keep making it the way you are. Question, if the government genuinely cared about protecting the environment, why was there an option to pay a fine and keep making it the way they were if that was damaging to the environment? One company chose to pay the fine and keep going, one company had to stop making that material all together, that was a shame, it was a good product.
i could go on and on. and that's just our government.
at our level, we got a brand new race war, which-and im sorry bro- started as soon as obama got into office.
We can thank the media for that I think. No matter the opposition to whatever the president wanted to do was labeled racist whether it was real racism or just genuine opposition.
the birther movement? bro i never witnessed anything like that in my life. i had a soldier from the south come up to me like "yo, you know your boy ain't even legal"
like...are you serious?
Funny thing is, that all started in the Clinton camp. But we all grasp at whatever straw that we think will help us on to victory don't we? I didn't actively advocate or dispute the birther thing, but I did hope it was true just a little bit just so my guy could win.
we got religions going back and forth with each other. i mean wtf is a westboro baptist church? wtf is a muslim..uh..whatever the hell they call themselves. that organization or whatever.
fishtheice found a great article and posted it on the old board about how the head of the westboro people would intentionally try to bait his opposition into some kind of argument so he could take you to court over free speech violations.
we got a massive problem with opiates. i don't understand why it's such a huge problem, but VERY LITTLE media coverage about it?
Got me there pal, don't know what to say.
our suicide rates. shot up. overdoses. shot up. abuse. shot up.
did you know we live in one of, if not THE most sedated country on this planet?
I didn't know that, but I guess it's not surprising. Life is just so damn stressful, too much pressure to 'achieve'. My 15 year old won't skip school even if she's sick just because it's so hard to catch up. Wouldn't have heard of that when I was that age.
So i dunno bro, but i look at these two candidates running, and you know what? we absolutely deserve them.
We absolutely do, I think they represent the extreme part of us that wants to 'get back at the other side' (don't look at me I voted for Ted Cruz).
people wanna talk about strong family values. high moral character. respecting others and being united.
how in the HELL did Trump emerge from that? that man is literally the opposite of all that. how?
If I could tell you that...I'd be telling you the next winning lottery numbers.
people wanna talk about not trusting the government. holding politicians accountable. getting the money out of politics.
and yet, clinton is the person that came from that? how? HOW?
If I could tell you that...I'd be telling you the next winning lottery numbers.
i don't get it bro. thats why i say all the time. i'm not sure if people actually know what they want.
Yep.
we deserver this clowns, because we can't get right at our level. we've let so many outside influences destroy us.
We're not neighbors anymore. They've convinced us that we need them and that our lives outcome depends on them much more than it actually does.
we got drug overdoes, race relation issues, political issues, job problems.
yet somehow, someway, we decided that some idiots 3000 + miles away living in mud huts are our biggest threat?
HOW?
That was a very bad day. Aaaand nothing else is threatening us. Other than us.
and Ted, we allowed these idiots, since 9/11, to change who we are as a country. so i look around and i'm like....we aren't tolerant of anything lately.
Have we ever been that tolerant of anything? I think that we're all just getting louder on both sides.
everybody has beef with everybody bro. So trump clinton is happening, because WE allowed it to happen. We did, and we've been allowing it for years. There's an old saying in christian circles about things that we disagree on, In the essentials unity, in nonessentials liberty, in all things CHARITY. Our disagreements have to be more agreeable if you know what i mean.

And yet. Not one word about the people getting by cops. All mention of police, no mention of these incidents.
When are you conservatives gonna get it? We don't want freaking handouts. We know the poverty rates. The poverty rates for all Americans are insane. The job loss, outsourcing doesn't just affect the black community. It affects everybody in this country.
We want equal treatment. We want to not be targeted by cops at a higher rate. We want to to stop discrimination based off our damn names. We want the justice system to not target us.
THATS our issues. And that's what is missing from republican mouths.
He didn't reach out at all. Literally, at all. The RNC was a complete joke. after everything trump said, there's a reason why trump won't sniff a majority percentage from any minority group. Y'all simply do not speak to a good portion of the American people.
Y'all made that perfectly clear for the circus which was this week.

Great speech last night from Donald Trump. He had the guts to lay out the ugly truth that this Country is in the worst shape it has been ever!!!!
He has made himself the change candidate and Hillary is the status quo candidate.
He is making this campaign simple. If you like the way things are in the world and country vote Hillary. If you want things to change. He is your candidate.
Folks. Things need to change.

I'm on popcorn number 6 now. This has been a great RNC. Cruz doesn't fold to Trump and gets booed off stage... CLASSIC. Melania steals a speech... CLASSIC. Trump offers Kasich the VP and says he will be in charge of domestic and foreign affairs. What exactly would Trump be doing? "Making America Great Again"... CLASSIC. Kasich snubs the RNC and Trump... CLASSIC. Rubio folds and phones it in with a video snub... CLASSIC. What a train wreck. And I seriously think he might end up winning... wow. __________________________ So I have a question, assuming he offered Pence the same control he offered Kasich, what will a Trump Presidency actually look like? Just wait till the DNC and see if your still laughing. Yup, better buy some more popcorn... gonna need it.

There was a lot of BLUE hair there, and wrinkles.
Maybe the blue hair and wrinkles bring wisdom and maturity. Something terribly, terribly lacking within the opposition. Combine the wisdom and maturity with fresh new faces across the country.......boooyaaa!!

The highlight last night was by far Ivanka. Too bad Donald couldn't build off her great performance. Honestly, I thought Trumps speech was pretty dull.
His daughter though, she nailed it!

Trust me both sides have their fair share of LOW IQ voters. GM! Hush! OCD doesn't know it but he's one of them! Don't tell him that! Only a fool doesn't realize he's a fool. And you're not fooling me Ted! Oh I'm just pullin' yer leg dude.
WE DON'T NEED A QB BEFORE WE GET A LINE THAT CAN PROTECT HIM my two cents...

Just clicking
Best thing about the RNC in Cleveland this week, NO BIG PROBLEMS..
No shootings (none surrounding the RNC anyway), no major craziness. Protests yes, but nothing too nutty.
There were 17 arrests that I remember hearing about, one police officer injured in a skirmish with a protestor.
Essentially, it was peaceful and I gotta say, the Cleveland Police and all the police that came from other places to assist, did an amazing job.
I'm very proud to say I live in NE Ohio right now.
Crazy couple of months right:
Lake Erie Monsters Cleveland Cavs Indians in first place Peaceful RNC
All we need now is for the Indians to continue down that path they are on and for the Browns to Improve to a point where we can see real potential.
Only cloud is that I'm not sure if the RNC ever paid the 6 million they owe the city. I guess it will come out eventually.

His daughter though, she nailed it! I thought she kind of sounded like a democratic socialist at times.

I would actual agree with that statement, but, I still enjoyed her assertive and well spoken speech.
