Sounds like they're all putting humanity in front of a few creatures. Helping stop climate change. Not increasing California's water debt. Again, they're doing good.

You are demonstrating your lack of reading comprehension if you think "echo chamber" means I put fingers in my ears smile

Your topics sit on the far left of this graph. You have absolutely no interest in having a discussion on the science of climate change. The very subject of this post is to bash and belittle scientists trying to learn more about climate change. Heck, that ship is well out of Murmansk and on its way to navigating the passage. But that doesn't matter to you. All that matters is hemming and hawing. You'd rather insult people than argue the real points of scientific analysis and discovery. You are far more likely to hen peck than you are to provide actual counter-points. You have no interest in actually having a discussion, only in listening to yourself and others who agree with you. Hence the "Echo Chamber" comment.

This isn't the sole purview of deniers. alarmists also like echo chambers. Also, alarmists and deniers equally seem to despise individuals weighing the whole catalog of issues. I've long taken the position that the evidence shows climate change is happening, yet carbon taxes won't solve the problem. Both deniers and alarmists hate this position. At least it seems like traction is coming up on the YouT00bz though:

Deniers and Alarmists are both going overboard on their position, to the detriment of our economic and environmental well being. Think for yourselves, don't be sheep.

Are you going to tell me that a more 'green' production of energy is better?

Yes....much better then producing energy from crops, coal, and fossil fuels.

Baaaaa Follow the Money!

By the way, pretty sure 2016 is the year Al Gore warned us exploding rocks would be shooting out of our boiling oceans.

I will have to watch the video again on YouTube when I need a good laugh.

Went up to northern Michigan last week. On the way up we go past a wind farm. It's a ways north of Lansing.

I, while driving, counted upwards of 50 wind turbines. That was me, while driving. I wouldn't be surprised if there are 75-100 of them.

That, folks, is what is called "green energy." Based on what similar, but probably smaller turbines in this area cost, I'm going to say each of those in that spot cost more than 1 million dollars.

And, not a single one of them was moving.

No problem, right? But, see, you can't just start up the coal or nuke plants on a whim. You don't just shut them down because it's a windy day.

I love green energy. But, it's unreliable, and darn expensive. It helps, don't get me wrong there. But it's simply not THE answer. We still need energy plants.

This documentary was lame. All it talked about was politics and farmers. I would be more interested in what is actually causing the drought

Good show, interesting and frightening just how tight things can get in the West for water. Water is the new oil.
