True, and that is definitely a feasible possibility for someone who has done virtually nothing.
I still can't believe Ray, Mike or freaking anybody didn't even meet with Gilbert before drafting him. As Vers would say... gag. Haha. Such a bad draft pick. Drafting someone who doesn't really even like football is mind boggling

Some guys are just naturally gifted and play football as a means of income. I actually believe there are NFL starters who don't necessarily love football, but respect it as a job.

I think Gilbert becomes another bench rider, someone in the back of the line as soon as Haden comes back and participates fully.
Haden and Williams are going to be the starters, Kuan will be nickel. Bank on it. Unless Gilbert is just outright relseasedd He's still a pretty valuable return guy.. But a pretty expensive one right?

Also, I'd agree about Devalve. It looks like PS may be his only way on Maybe IR.

I would have imagined Pasztor's experience gives him a little head up

No way they win more games than us. I'd be surprised if the Eagles win more than 3 games. Their HC is an Andy Reid disciple and Andy proved he couldn't win with the talent they had (DeSean, Shady, Vick, their o-line). Now their HC is suppose to put together a winning team from those pieces that Chip Kelly didn't hack away? I wouldn't be surprised if they get us the first pick in the draft.

the thing is the NFCE was one of the worst divisions last year ... and unless things are much different, won't be strong again this year. On a given day they're better than the other 3 teams

Ideally our WRs will turn into a strength of the team. It was the one area where our FO really emphasized and invested ... but there are no guarantees

Let me try this favorite comeback when I criticize the Browns: "How about we let it play out first?" LOL And how much you willing to bet? What kinda odds you wanna give me since there is "no way?" Here is one NFL power ranking: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000...steelers-plungeEagles are 26th and Browns are 32nd. Want more examples? It's wild how outrageous statements go unchallenged by almost everyone, yet if other posters post factual information that is negative about the Browns, so many get their panties twisted.

Not to mention that draft pick... I agree, it is 10 games of impact. Not just the game against us. I can see us rooting for the Steelers, and Bengals when they play them.

I've rooted for Mingo, but it looks like he might get cut.
Multiple fumbles between Erving and RGIII? But, ignore it, shill.
RT and center will be an issue this year. Hopefully, Pazstor can get it done. Still not sure why they don't try Bitonio there.

Hmm ... Mingo on the inside? Might as well try anything at this point. It doesn't seem to match his skill set, I assume?

He's pretty good in coverage and ILBers cover a lot in the 3-4. And he can't be worse than Davis and Kirksey. But again, he'll probably be cut.

Still not sure why they don't try Bitonio there. Short arm length was one of the reasons he was moved inside...

I've wanted Mingo at ILB after his rookie year. He's big, athletic, and can defend the pass.

Not sure I get the "inside" move. I am not a great football mind, but it seems to me the further inside you go, the "beefier" you need to get. Seems far from Mingo. Not sure about Irving. I'll wait 3-4 exhibition games before passing a judgement.

It depends on scheme Peen, Steelers have lighter weight ILBs and HUGE OLBs.

maybe he could be a passing down ILB ... cover backs/crossing routes

Don't say that I didn't warn you that RT is going to be a problem this year. It may take a short while and time to gel, but we'll be fine. I was always a Schwartz supporter (even before we drafted him) but he was not irreplaceable...

Don't say that I didn't warn you that RT is going to be a problem this year. If RGIII runs the offense the way it is designed, the crappy right tackle shouldn't matter too much. Hopefully he will be getting rid of the ball pretty quick. It is not that much of a stretch to say a rookie offensive linemen (that was not taken early in the draft) will be bad. There are not very many offensive linemen that were successful and drafted after the second round. Every offensive linemen's rookie season since 1999: http://www.pro-football-reference.com/pl...amp;draft_pos=p

Don't say I didn't warn you. Oh, and the center position is going to be bad, too. The center position has a much better chance at being stabilized because if Erving sucks they can just move Greco over and then play Pasztor at guard (where he was okay last year). Between Bailey, Coleman, and Drango I think we will get at least one league average player.
