Some do, some don't. Just like some Browns fans aren't fans of the Tribe. It's quite simple really.

It must make you feel better to talk about standings....you've done it several times. And, if it does, I'm happy for you. Thing is, you say it like we don't know we're in last place in our division. I used to have nothing against the Indians, but seeing how you guys have acted over the past six years, I now root against them no matter who they play.

Not sure about that....Cincinnati is a baseball city, not a football city.

Yes, I know. I'm just saying that I snicker when I hear the Tribe has lost now where I used to feel bad for the fans here. Not anymore.

Why all the bickering? Interleague play sucks. Is it just me or does Brownie points not sounds very similar to Clown Hunter with his Quote:
Poor Reds = "PoorClowns "
Frankly all this bragging is annoying, and I am a Tribe fan.

Interleague does suck.
It's pointless, these teams will never play each other in the playoffs. I would much rather see a few more games against detroi and Chigcago than play the Reds, and the Marlins.

I see your point, but it gives you a chance to play other teams. And in the AL's case you get to add on a few wins vs. the weak NL teams..(Rockies, Marlins..)

I think it's clear from reading this thread that Tribe fans suck more than Reds fans. When we lose we don't make excuses and cry about ONE play that lost us the game. Games shouldn't come down to one play at home plate....if they do, it was a crappy game. End of story.

I found an article saying as such... Headline: Quote:
A-Rod, Abreu power surging Yanks by Bucs
http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb
Yet nothing about the ridiculously exciting Tigers Indians race for 1st.
If the media thinks that the Yankees beating the bucs is more exiting than the Indians Tigers race.
Baseball is doomed

You arr absolutely right but it still doesnt change the fact that the game came down to one play. It shouldnt have but it did. The umps blew it. So congrats to the Reds and their fans for the highlight of their season. They split a season series by winning a deciding game on a blown call.

Hey at least it not sore asses
I think if the opposite happened and the Reds lost the game on a blown call at the plate as a Reds fan you would be a bit upset.
Now not saying this sarcatically but the Reds played some good ball to keep it close like they did. The kid in the finale(harrang?) looked very good. I just hate the fact that what was a very well pitched game by both sides came down to a blown call at the end.

Me too. Mostly because I don't care for the DH. Backup here a second though; I don't mind the DH as much as I hate not having it the same in both leagues.
The Reds are my other team, so the bickering is meaningless.

I havent cried once and I am not a sore loser. How childish are you to call epople " sore losers" . I am not sore we lost. Its not like you guys swept us or anything, its not like winning or losing to the Reds is even significant. I thin it sucks that very good game would come down to a blown call, either way it went. If Michaels had been called safe and he wasnt I wouldnt be gloating about the win. Yeah obviously we would take it but I wouldnt care for a good game to be decided like that.
Secondly go back in the thread. The only reason I said anything about the blown call was in response to someone saying Skinner should not have sent the runner. Well obviously he made the right call because the runner was safe, wait, he wasnt safe but he touched home plate before he was tagged and the ump blew the call. If the ump makes the correct call Skinners decision most likely would not be questioned. The reds played a nice game and battled right to the end of a close game. They got the benefit of a bad call by a ump which helped them win the game. Good for them.I dont feel that is being a sore loser. Discussing facts of what happened in a game is what the threads are for right?? So maybe instead of acting like a child and dismissing what someone says by calling them childish names you could actually make a meaningful contribution to the thread.

Not to dismiss anyone's argument, but the game was over when Garko--who is now 1 for 25 after tonite's BomBowskiNess--swung at ball four in the ninth with the bases loaded,...and popped to first.

I am not saying in any way that the Tribe shouldnt have won that game many inning earlier. They should have and yes those who have said they deserved to lose for letting a bad team like the Reds off the hook are absolutely correct but for Reds fans to brag about going three and three against the Tribe when a blown call played a huge role in them winning the rubber match of the second series is absurd.

Don't worry about that,...seems like all the other series' we've lost this year have all been to last place teams,....KC, and Yankees come to mind.
I'm more worried about who's getting Adam Dunn,...hopefullly not an AL team.

You have to be kidding. Name calling? You have issues, seriously. You whined about what you perceived as a bad call and inferred it lost your team the game and then get miffed when somebody calls you out on it. And you call somebody else childish? Classic. As for beating the Tribe in this series, it's meaningless and I couldn't care less. As usual, it's the Tribe's fans responses that are so damn funny.

Reds are a few players shy of being a World Series team... But so are we, but not as many as the Reds
