same reason Tito sent salazar back out with 100 pitches...he's horrible at managing the pitchers

This team....I'm getting a heart attack out of them one way or another.

At DT, context and meaning are a scarecrow kicking at moving goalposts.

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

I'm PISSED. Ramirez and Chisenhall just bailed Francona's ass out.

You put Shaw in to get ONE out. He does it. You take a 3-2 lead into the 8th. That's classic Set-Up and Closer. Miller and Allen. And you trot Shaw out there again. WTF Francona.

You're Gdamn lucky.

I realize this is a fault of many a Cleveland fan, but it saddened me to watch 42 year-old Ichiro Suzuki’s feeble attempt at Chisenhall’s game-winning liner in right field last night. (he like “dove” for the ball from ~ ten feet away)(more like he fell to the ground).

I’ll always remember Ichiro as that Japanese rookie who led the league with a .350 average in 2001 (in 738 plate appearances! - that’s 242 hits). Or who batted .372 in 2004. (262 hits)

But hey, he should have taken the day-off against the juggernaut Tribe.

Their defense is so much better than ours, stuff that consistent gets by kipnis and lindor these guys make look routine. Oh and Perez still sucks. Not sure I get yanking clevinger so soon, especially for manship and garner. Hope they can hold until we can get bats going

Someone tell these guys it's ok not to swing at the first thing. Especially with someone on base. That's why we hit into so many DP

I've been here watching Tito pretty much give the game away with his handling of pitchers. I wish you couldn't see people you have on ignore when they are quoted

Pretty disappointed with the loss last night. I was surprised to hear that Clevinger was only going to pitch two to three innings to start the game. It turns out he didn't even make it to two. Manship has not pitched well for us....

the whole play the bullpen for the 5th starter is stupid, they could have just called up someone instead of doing that...we didn't have a chance last night .

j/c..

Up at the game tonight, can't imagine there were more than 12,000 there, yikes.

Another great outing by Carrasco.

Guyer made a big impact after pinch-hitting for Naquin.

Miller didn't dominate, but it didn't cost us the game. No worries in the long run.

Tigers lost, up 6 in the loss column. thumbsup

Having the White Sox take two from the Tigers was key.

Hopefully we can split with the Stros today.

Bauer needs to pitch well today. Astros are desperate to win

Astros' pitcher (Paulino) is making his MLB debut. I hate that; we always make newbies look like the 2nd coming of Walter Johnson.

Looks like we had a little luck turn in our favor today and the Tribe is taking full advantage. 10-3 in the top of the 6th and Bauer has thrown less than 80 pitches. Looks like we'll end this series on a high note.
