Yes, it is a set up question. If anything, my respect for Johnson just ticked up a notch for doing what I've wanted politicians to do for a long time.. just admit you don't know.

As Hillary and Donald are both meeting with religious groups fairly regularly and touting their own faith... I'd like to ask them to name the commandments, all 10 of them. Anybody who spends as much time in church as they claim to should be able to do that without even thinking. I won't even make them recite them in order. thumbsup

This is exactly what irks me about politicians ... and to the same extent, upper management who tend to have the same "skill".

Ask them a question like that, and they will inevitably dance around it, change the topic 20 times and use 20,000 words to (not) answer the question when 200 would of worked.

And people somehow think this shows "leadership". superconfused

Not to mention the art of throwing bombs at the other candidates as a way to deflect any criticism aimed their way.

The start to Hillary's answer: "I think it's unfair that the poor in churches are expected to know the commandments since so many of them can't even afford Bibles...."

The start to Trump's answer: "I am going to put the 10 Commandments in stone back on every government building in this country within 30 days, and they will only be in English..... "

I like that.

I don't know, my man....I have certain standards for a presidential candidate and one of them is to be more intelligent than the "average Joe". But, I also don't think knowing about Aleppo shows intelligence...it shows an awareness to a major crisis NOW. That is like saying to LBJ in 1965...what is the "la Dreng valley"? And, LBJ not knowing.

It also shows again why Americans are consistently mocked when it comes to the rest of the world. When Bush Jr. won the 1st election a headline on a major British newspaper said "Congrats Mr. President....PS: We Are Here!" (w/arrow pointing to the UK on a map. Trump too put his foot in his mouth when he was in Scotland and said "congratulations on Brexit".

A lot of it has to do with the US roughly being the same size as Europe. They can't believe we are so Geographically inept because we can't name all 44 countries of Europe (which change frequently), but if you give them a map of the United States, they would be hard pressed to name all 50 states in a similar manner.

Kind of a weird story. A person was misled about being in a Trump commercial. She didn't want to be associated with it and was lied to.

That reminds me of that situation where Palin had that tv show where people like LL cool J didn't know they were supporting her.

Is there any reason as to why the media is attacking Matt Lauer for doing what their chicken little selves have done the entire campaign? Don't get me wrong Lauer deserves criticism, but the media has been throwing softballs for both candidates. I'm just wondering why the media cares if they're labeled as being conservative or liberally biased. You're not fooling anybody.

Fox News could come out tomorrow and praise Hillary Clinton, but everybody and their mother knows how they're all voting. Same deal with MSNBC, they could call Trump the next Reagan and everybody will know they're full of crap.

I just don't understand why Chris Wallace came out and said his job is not to be a fact checker during the debates. WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR JOB THEN?!?!

It'd be nice if one of these candidates stood up to pharmaceutical companies. However, that will never happen. People talk about oil companies and the NRA owning elections. I guarantee pill companies are the biggest contributors and most corupt organizations on the planet. They pay the DEA and congress off to make safer alternatives to their products illegal. It's why I get irritated when people say drug abuse is because of society having no morales. YOU ARE GIVING THESE ORGANIZATIONS A PASS.

Meth is evil, but 1 positive of it spreading is that people are deciding to open their eyes.

I totally agree candyman. My insurance company was being charged 4k per month for Enbrel for my wife's arthritis. Who in the hell can afford that kind of a price? I'm kind of suspicious because the insurance company pays it without squawking yet they won't pay for blood tests and other services?

Iran official: hey do you think we can bait the us into starting a war against us?

Iran official 2: Nah, but if trump is president, then yea.

How come no tough talk about Russians jets flying close? Lol, we all know the answer to that....

Donald Trump declares he would shoot Iranian ships 'out of the water' if they bother American ships

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/donald-trump-declares-shoot-iranian-030930900.html

Donald Trump said Friday night that he would shoot Iranian vessels "out of the water" if they bother American ships.

"Iran, when they circle our beautiful destroyers with their little boats and they make gestures at our people that they shouldn't be allowed to make, they will be shot out of the water," the GOP presidential candidate said at a campaign rally in Pensacola, Florida.

His comments follow the fifth time in about a month that Iranian boats have harassed US Navy ships in the Persian Gulf.

The US Navy has fired defensive warning shots, but not "shot [them] out of the water," as Trump would like.

Military analysts suspect the Iranian fast-attack craft have been conducting such maneuvers mainly because they are unhappy with the US nuclear deal — an agreement Trump also opposes.

Earlier this week, the real-estate mogul also released his plan for the military if elected president.

It calls for 540,000 active-duty Army soldiers, 350 Navy ships, 1,200 combat-ready Air Force jets, and 36 Marine Corps battalions — numbers he reiterated at the rally Friday night. On the technology side, Trump calls for a modernization of the missile-defense system.

This buildup will likely cost hundreds of billions of dollars, according to Military Times.

The US military, Trump said, will be "so strong that nobody's going to mess with us."

This is what has irritated me about the media. I don't care about Trumps tax returns. I don't care about Hillarys emails. It's been established both of these candidates are corrupt and shady at best.

Why is the media not talking about situations like yours?

The media is hardly covering the massive Native American protest going on right now

DOJ and DOI ruled in favor of the protests. The pipeline is being delayed until the DOJ has done an investigation on sacred lands being harmed by the pipeline.

The natives had a legit beef. Native lands were not analyzed to see if burial grounds would be affected by the pipeline.

Definitely and interesting read.

Causing a lot of divide within households.

So Trump is hiring actors to represent small business owners for his commercials. Not unheard of, but the actual owners of the stores being used for commercial purposes aren't happy about it.

Regardless of who they support, I can understand being angry. They were told the stores would be for stock photos only. This could hurt their business.

Hillary calls voters bigots and other names, yet a few days earlier she says:

"If Donald Trump doesn't show all Americans the respect they deserve, he doesn't deserve to be their president."

Such a hypocrite. But liberals will continue to ignore it.

That's what I was thinking.

The alt-right is something nobody should want to be associated with.

I don't think you're a bigot.

Hillary didn't say alt-right is bigots, she said trump supporters are bigots. Not all trump supporters are associated with the alt-right. Again, she says this after saying Trump should respect voters, yet she doesn't respect voters herself. Hillary's comments tell us exactly what kind of president she will be, one that will continue to divide this country like Obama has.

Except she named exactly the type of people who are associated with the alt-right.

Who are supporting trump for president.

So what did she say that was wrong?

"Hillary is sickly ill!" will become the new "Obama wasn't born in America!" nonsense.

I get criticism against candidates, but this health thing is grasping at straws.
