Josh Gordon for Jimmy Garoppolo, who says no?
(I am only half joking.) Sure fire way to get an audible chuckle out of Belichik.

Well at least we didn't trade McCown? I kind of wish we did. Starting Kessler would ensure the first overall pick. Nothing will keep us away from the first overall pick. Did you not watch that so-called game yesterday?

*Sigh* Only in Cleveland. lol Didn't you want to see a McCown trade? Do you think that McCown is the difference between this team winning and losing? I don't. If we're going to lose, we might as well get another chip instead of using McCown for a few games before he is also hurt. It is kind of sad ....last year, game 1 .... McCown hurt running the ball. This year, RG3 hurt, running the ball. Just asking. No offense. It is sad. It's time for the Brown's to cut their losses and close up shop. They just aren't NFL ready.

We all knew the Browns are on a new 2-3 year plan. They were essentially tanking this year. Plus, with still be high after the Cavs win, I didn't really care if we were terrible this year. Meh. All in a day.

Looks like we're gonna see Cody Kessler way earlier than expected.
Or was it?

You couldn't script this stuff. He lasted just one freaking game? Wow...combine the constant ineptness of the FO regimes, coaching, and horrible luck what chance do we have of ever seeing a winner again. It's totally unbelievable to me.

I would trade Thomas, Haden, and Gordon for Garrapolo today. Now. This minute.
I'm not joking.

to me it looked like RG3 thought the defender was engaged and he was trying to get out of bounds. the Defender broke off and broke Rg3. The sad part imo is that the defender should have been at least flagged for tackling Rg3 before being back on the field of play.

Must not have been his throwing arm cause it sure was working well yesterday as he was sailing passes 20 yards over the heads of wide open receivers. he left *I am being kind* at least 4 TDS on the field yesterday when he overthrew what should have been easy td passes.

Also, Griffin stayed on the field after he was injured and made that horrendous fourth down pass (I turned the game off after that play).

While I don't like seeing anyone get hurt, I'm not that upset. RG3 didn't look great by any means and after last season, I actually have alot more respect of the skills of McCown.
Believe it or not, I think our offence might have actually gotten better. The biggest thing I saw with Griffin was him holding the ball too long. McCown is a better decision maker and still offers enough mobility that he can scramble a bit if he needs to.
Wouldn't surprise me at all if RG3 doesn't play another down this year.

Oh well. At least the sky isn't falling because we got overly analytical and traded away McCown. We'll see how long he stays healthy. And for the record I like McCown. He's just not a part of the future for the Browns. But he is here now so he's got that going for him.

To compound matters, McCown was constantly getting hurt last year.
We'll probably re-sign Austin Davis.

They would not have put him on IR if they were not bringing in another QB imho. Austin Davis is probably right but with all the picks we have a trade is possible, just no idea who we would trade for at this point.
Pretty sure we won't trade for anyone because this year is about game experience for the young guys anyway.

Since this season is a wrap anyway, might as well try josh freeman and tarvaris Jackson, for extra laughs.

In all fairness, it was his first regular season start in quite some time. Last year with the Skins he wasn't even allowed to be their backup His problem has always been reading coverage. He threw a ball into triple coverage yesterday. Not only that but he continuously threw behind receivers when that was never a problem before. There was a very small chance that Griffin was going to turn into anything of value, he had farther to go than I thought to be even below average.
