Just because some loud mouthed "wanna be" doesn't perform as well as he runs his mouth, you don't wanna hear it. Well, you're GONNA hear it here. Wheather you like that or not!

See, this is ignorant. I believe he has performed as well as he could considering the team he's playing for. If another receiver can step up and perform better, replace him. End of story.

Edit: You guys defend the scrub, some of us defend Leon, that's never going to change.

My point on this thread was never whether or not Braylon talked too much, but was simple and direct.

What does Braylon's past interviews about improvement and team advancement have to do with the Giants locker room issues last season?

Pretty much everything IMO Florida. You have the EXACT same scenario, just a different team. A malcontent is not good for team chemistry. It creates deviceivness which also helps breed LOSING. Here's a few quotes I find VERY relivant.

Quote:

“What we would really like to do, and I’ve talked to our team about it, is do our playing on the field and let our play do the talking,” Coughlin said. “Not spend so much time trying to explain who we are, where we are. Let’s just play the game. Talk is cheap.”

Quote:

“Because I think basically we talked too much. We need to play the game, and let our performance do our talking for us.

Quote:

But griping usually comes with losing, and several players said Wednesday that dissension hurt the team last season.

“The distractions we had last year kind of affected us a little bit,” linebacker Antonio Pierce said. “We need to get back to having fun. Last year, it was fun when we were 6-2. After that, it wasn’t fun for me.

“We don’t need to feed into the negativity. I don’t want to worry about coming in here saying: ‘Why is this teammate fighting? Why did he say that?’ This ain’t high school. This is professional football.”

You see, human nature is the same in a locker room and on a team, wheather that team exists in New York,LA or Cleveland. These statements hold true no matter the location. And from everything I've heard,Braylon's mouth has been just as devicive here on this team,as any other such "character" in the league has hurt theirs.

In short,it's the exact same thing, only in a different location. And just like Coughlin, some of us want "pro football players" not a Leon.

JMHO

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Sometimes I wonder though, is TC's stance on discipline creating the bad atmosphere,...???

It is kind of hypocritical for him to tell THE MEDIA, the players need to shut up and win.

I will agree on that.

I love these threads. People need a place to vent ...Even in Pure Football . If it keeps the crap out of Good threads like the one on Brady by Diam and Zone Blocking by Vers than it is a good thing.

I am tired of Braylon's actions and have posted it. I do get tired of it coming up over and over and over...

Pit may have been overly feisty, but Leon did not perform as well as he could. How could he when he didn't take the time to learn all the plays? He didn't even know where to line up all the time? Couldn't he have studied more? How about being late for meetings and practices? How can you be TWO hours late for practice? Is that doing as well as you can? I could go on and on, but it is a fact that he did not prepare himself as well as he "could" have.

First off..........I wasn't including you as one of his girlfriends. *L*

Secondly, I doubt his interviews about improvement and team advancement has anything to do w/the Giants. However, when he threw teammates under the bus, that was similar to a Giant thing. It was also similar when he criticized the playcalling. He also said he wanted the ball more, but in the very next game, we had to call a timeout because he did not know where to line up. I would say that is similar to the Giants' situation.

Telling his position coach to F. ...off because the guy was trying to get him to run a precise route in practice sounds very Giant like

Telling Joe J. to F. off because he tried to help him sounds Giant like.

Blowing off the entire team during a team meeting after it was pointed out he made multiple mistakes in a game is Giant like. Hell, that is worse than Giant like.

Calling out Brian Russell in the media before the Bengal game was Giant like. Nah, again it's worse. All because Leon was afraid to get hit himself.

Pushing Frye around on the sidelines and then later claiming that he was angry at the offensive line was pretty bad. I mean...........I actually thought the offensive linemen were his teammates too. And the crazy thing is what the hell was he doing to help? He drops balls, he doesn't run the correct routes, he doesn't run crisp routes, he displays gator arms, etc, etc. Who the is he to call anyone out?

Did you know that there are actually some of the players who have started calling him Leon? LOL...........What does that tell you about Leon?

Well then my being 1200 miles away must make a difference then, because down here I have never heard about him "throwing teammates under the bus."

All I get is what is on during the game on Sundays.
