I'll watch all of the Miami game to see Kayaa too

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

JT Barrett will have a chance to win the heisman. He will have the stats and the wins.

Yeah, why wouldn't they be touting him as the Heisman front runner?

Chad Kelly just ran onto the field during a brawl to try and fight someone. He was attending a high school football game.

Your post was misleading. I just saw this on College GameDay. He was there to watch his brother. His brother was the victim of a cheap shot. He wasn't even all that violent.

Not a big deal.

Swish posed a question in another thread about the available Qb's coming out. I am addressing it here because I think it fits better in this thread. These are my impressions and certainly are based off of limited evaluation.

The Big 3

There are 3 Qb that seem to be the consensus top Qb's coming out:

Watson - He looked good this year but has struggled this year. The radio talk show types said he had a great game vs Louisville. Yes he had 5 TD passes but also threw 3 interceptions. He had a good game vs BC last week but I think Ytown could have a good game qb'ing vs BC.

He is undersized and likes to run. Not a great combo in my opinion but the Qb in Buffalo seems to be getting away with it. I think this might be his best comparison in the NFL right now. I think his arm isa little weak and think his accuracy is overrated. I wouldn't take him at #1 overall.

Kaaya - Lots of scouts like him and lots don't. I don't know how to explain it but when I see him play, I don't see big time NFL Qb possibilities in his future.

Kizer - Big kid, strong arm. Needs more experience. He should return to ND for another year. If he comes out then he would be tough to pass on. He reminds me of Cam Newton coming out. He could become big time but you will have to be patient with him. Remember, it took several years for Newton to develop.

What I don't like about him is that I think he throws a ball that is tough to catch. The front tip seems angled down. When you do that the ball will dip quickly when it starts to slow. When that happens right before the catch the ball becomes very difficult to hang onto unless you are a really talented receiver. I think in the NFL he will be plagued by receivers dropping passes. I think this will happen more in the NFL because the balls are different sizes in college. It is a thicker ball and isn't as impacted by the low front tip.

The Others:

Kelly - big kid, strong arm. Possibly a head case, unclear. Definitely need to do your due diligence. He plays his game like Brett Favre. I don't think he is as talented as Farve but I don't remember Favre when he was coming out of college. He is a true gunslinger. He will put the ball up and let the receiver go got it. Will result in a lot of big plays. Unfortunately big plays for both teams. I don't take him in the 1st round. Possibly in round 2 if available.

Webb - I like this kid. He has a great arm. Strong and accurate even on the run. He is the guy who just seems to flick the ball and zoom it's at the receiver. The issues with him are that he doesn't have a lot of game experience. How football smart is he? He transferred to Cal so he is playing in that offense which is nothing like an NFL offense. The natural comparison would be to Goff. I think Webb has a stronger more accurate arm. Goff was a 3 year starter, this is Webb's 1st. He could be one of those guys with the meteoric rise but he is unlikely to be in the conversation for the #1 overall pick. I would give him serious consideration as early as late 1st (though I am sure we would be made fun of for drafting him that high - at least if the draft was today). Ignore the stats for his last game. He hurt his hand in that game.

Trubisky - He is putting up pretty gaudy numbers but I don't say NFL QB when I see him throw. Arm is strong. What is it I don't like about him? I don't know. Does he have a slow windup? He is also pretty inexperienced and is another guy that should return to college next year. Ignore the tats from the UNC-Va Tech game. It was played pretty much in a monsoon.

Evans - I haven't seen him play but heard Kiper talking about him n the radio. He will need a look. Ignore the stats from the UNC-Va Tech game - see above

Mahomes - I have only seen highlights but when I watch him I see Dak Prescott. Where would you have taken Prescott in the last draft if he hadn't gone out and gotten pulled over for a DUI? Top of the 2nd? Perhaps late 1st? That what I see from Mahomes at this stage.

Did I leave anybody out?
Hope this gives you a good starting point Swish.

Can I use a chair, and not have to throw any further than 3 yards? Oh, and no hitting me either.

I see more Josh Freeman than Cam Newton in Kizer. Not sure exactly why I have that impression. Doesn't seem to handle adversity the greatest. I don't know if it's because he split time with Zaire to start the season or what, but I don't really get the sense that he's "The Guy" at Notre Dame. I'm not sure if it's the "It" factor or what, but the guys don't really seem to look to him for answers all the time, they seem to look all over the place. Maybe Kelly's playing the blame game rubbed off on the rest of the team. He seems to be lacking something in the taking charge and making those around him better departments. Physical stuff looks there, but I'm not high on the "intangibles".

For Watson and Kelly I don't question the arm strength, but I do question the accuracy and decision making. They just aren't very consistent. It's also hard to get a feel for are they making reads or are they just throwing where the play is called to go a lot of the time.

Kaaya has some nice highlights, but some of his lowlights are cringe-worthy. I'll have to dig into the numbers, but at first look he seems to struggle with pressure unless the dump off/screen happens to be where he is looking when it shows up. Where ever he happens to be looking when he feels it, that's generally where the throw is going whether it's a good idea or not.

I like Mahomes, but he's a project. Could he excel in a pro system? Perhaps, but it's not a given. Has a lot of "backyard" to his game. I like it as a bonus, but he's got to be able to operate on script, too. I like Texas Tech's offense, but there aren't any like it in the pro's. Can he adapt and how fast are the pertinent questions.

I'm trying to talk myself into liking Trubisky, but I'm having similar struggles.

I'll have to see more of Webb, I wasn't impressed on my initial look.

Don't think I've even glanced at Evans yet.

Agree with your comments.

Kaaya just feels wrong to me.
I like the way Webb throws but need to get into his head.
Evans is a physical specimen. I'm looking forward to watching him.

Edited for grammar
