In my opinion, no one has been worse than Erving. I wish one of the other guys could actually be a decent RT, so we could keep Greco at center and put Pazstor at guard.
Heck, I wish we would have kept Schwartz...........but this FO didn't think he was worth the money.
Blocking wise, Erving has looked much better. The mental errors can hopefully be corrected, but he's playing with a much better base and looks stronger.
Shelton has quietly had a pretty good 3 weeks as well.
Pazstor is much better suited to be a guard than a tackle. Drango looked like he had a lot to learn and I'm not sure that he is fluid enough to be a Tackle. He seems more like a road grader.
I haven't seen enough of Coleman to have an opinion yet.
greco was a big upgrade yesterday IMO. it was noticeable
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."
I do think Erving is struggling in areas other than poor snaps. He seems to make a lot of bad reads and chooses the wrong guy too often. He has let guys run right by him and instead has doubled a guy who is being handled by Greco. I have also seen him get beat w/rip and power moves at times.
I think you know this, but will point it to others who may have forgotten. Two guys had a shot at the starting RT before Hue moved Pazstor in there. I think the first guy was Bailey and then Drango got a shot.
Hue settled on Pazstor. I think it's best to stick w/him for awhile.
Pasztor hasn't been that bad this year so far except for yesterday
This is not true.
What is untrue about it? Pasztor had an one of the best grades on the entire team in week 2.
Really? .. Your a teacher ... Someone gets a 68, 92 and 40 ... We just going to focus on the 92 and forget about the 40 and 68 ... Somehow I doubt you taught or parented like that ... ..
This is when u lose me bro .. Your not MAKING THINGS up like u said in another thread .. But this is JUST AS BAD IMO .. YOUR DOING EXACTLY WHAT THEY DO .. Telling a partial story that only FITS WHAT ARGUMENT YOUR MAKING ..
I agree that Erving is worse .. But this guy SUCKS ASS ALSO ..
You are not making sense. The OP said that he Pazstor wasn't as bad "all year" as he was yesterday. cfrs said that was untrue.
I pointed out that Pazstor had a high grade during week 2, so what the OP said was not "untrue."
Look boss, I wanted the Browns to keep both Schwartz and Mack. I do not think that Pazstor is a quality RT. I think he should be a starting guard [max] or better yet, a back-up guy to plug in when an injury occurs. However, that does not change the "fact" that he was not as bad in the first two games as he was yesterday.
If Pasztor is that far ahead of everyone else the way Hue claimed during his presser, Jimmy should clear house of this front office. Pasztor is the worst starting tacle in the league and if we have 3 more tackles worse than him on our roster, someone needs fired.
Was this the pressers after yesterday's game or from awhile back? ....

Browns RG Alvin Bailey was arrested for DUI early Monday morning in Cleveland. Bailey admitted to drinking several whiskeys on the flight home from Miami and then continuing his drinking at a local establishment back home in Cleveland. He was followed into a park parking lot where an officer stopped Bailey and found trace amounts of marijuana in the center console. Bailey was also cited for failure to comply, drug abuse, drug paraphernalia, speeding, and unsafe vehicle due to a cracked windshield. It could cost Bailey his job with the Browns.

NORTH ROYALTON – A Cleveland Browns offensive lineman was arrested for OVI and other counts after being stopped by police while in a Cleveland Metroparks parking lot around 1 a.m. Sept. 26.
According to a North Royalton Police report, an officer saw Alvin Bailey Jr., 25, a city resident, speeding northbound on West 130th Street at 12:57 a.m. in his lifted pick-up truck. The vehicle then turned onto Valley Parkway and into the Paw Paw Picnic Area just off of West 130th.
An officer allegedly saw Bailey exiting the vehicle and reportedly ignored commands to go back inside, with Bailey instead bending down under the tailgate. Bailey then stood up, seeming surprised at the officer's presence, according to the report. He stated he stopped due to a vehicle warning of high air pressure and was releasing air.
Bailey reportedly told officers he was driving home after spending several hours at a Pearl Road business in Strongsville. He said he went there after arriving back in Cleveland from Miami, where the 0-3 Browns had played the previous afternoon and lost to the Dolphins 30-24. Bailey was a new addition to the starting lineup in that game after center Cameron Erving was injured earlier this season.
Bailey – who the Browns list at 6-foot-3-inches and 320 pounds – reportedly admitted to drinking while at the business and consuming several whiskeys on the plane from Miami before that. He was arrested for OVI after performing poorly on sobriety tests and testing over the legal limit on a portable breath test.
During a search of the vehicle, officers allegedly saw green flakes believed to be marijuana inside the center console, including in an unlocked lock box. Bailey was cited for failure to comply, drug abuse, drug paraphernalia, speed and unsafe vehicle (cracked windshield). He had a Sept. 29 court date.
Bailey, who previously played on the Seattle Seahawks for three years before being signed to the Browns in March, started in the 2013 Super Bowl that the Seahawks won.

This part...Quote: #Browns OL Alvin Baliey arrested for OVI; records show cited for failure to comply, drug abuse, drug paraphernalia, speed & unsafe vehicle...
Schwartz had other qualities that our front office did not consider or ignored.
It was just a terrible mistake by the Browns inexperienced front office...The H Boys.

Hold your horses mac... shouldn't Sashi call Bailey's defense attorney to get the "truth" first before you pass judgment on him? According to you that's what they should have done with Dak.

People love ganging up on one poster around here. So gutty!
If someone states views that are far outside the norm, then they are going to get a lot of push back and debate.
I have taken some positions that were not popular, and I got a lot of debate. No big deal. The board is for debate. No one should have to stay quiet just because they agree with the majority.

Man, I'm not worried about Vers. The guy trashes other posters with the viciousness and rapacity of Genghis Kahn but holds up a picture of the Dali Lama on a popsicle stick and expects you to believe that's who he is

Sushi cited Bailey as one of the individuals the front office "analyzed" and decided it would be best for the Browns to go in a different direction at RT.
I pointed out that Schwartz had other qualities that the Harvard Boys did not consider.
Schwartz was a member of the team for 4 yrs and never once did he get stopped by the cops and charged with drugs or driving drunk.
What is wrong with pointing that out...that the front office should consider the whole person, and not just the $$$.
Browns got Coleman to replace Schwartz and hoped someone could step in to be a stop gap replacement for the next year or two. Honestly, I always thought Bailey was signed to be the utility guy on the o-line, our poor version of Greco. This sucks. I wish we could cut him.
I pointed out that Schwartz had other qualities that the Harvard Boys did not consider.
How do you know for a FACT that "Schwartz had other qualities that the Harvard Boys did not consider. " can you provide proof of this statement thant it was never considered? or is it just BS you spout to put down the FO?
didn't bailey play guard? why are we comparing him to Schwartz?
