Pasztor has got to go, guys.
Y'all remember Cousins horrible game? It wasn't as bad as whatever the hell we just witnessed yesterday.
I understand he was going against Cameron Wake. Wake makes a lot of RT look like bums. I get it.
But the penalties were absolute daggers and drive killers. Not that our kicker was doing much, but Pasztor single handily took us out of gimme FG range in the red zone. Never mind if we could've actually scored a TD.
Coleman can't be that bad. He was a healthy scratch yesterday. Time to see what the kid has got.

What has Coleman done to make you think you know more than the coaches do?

Not sure if you mean Corey Coleman or Shon Coleman at RT ... I'm good with either But, yeah, it can't get much worse than Pasztor yesterday can it? Is Shon Coleman healthy enough though?

As much as they've been shifting people, if the staff felt Coleman would be any better, I'm sure we'd have seen him get plugged in.

I do think we'll see someone new at RT, whether that's Drango or Coleman.
The guy is a guard playing RT.
At DT, context and meaning are a scarecrow kicking at moving goalposts.

What has Coleman done to make you think you know more than the coaches do? While a good point, I cannot imagine Coleman could be worse. Even if he just stood up after the snap and yelled at the QB "watch out"...at least he would not hold...
you had a good run Hank.

But that's what I'm thinking bro. They might have soured on pasztor, and maybe want to see what our other guys have. I can't imagine it being worse. A wash, maybe.

Wasn't he a healthy scratch yesterday? I'm not sure? Maybe. I just knew he wasn't healthy in the offseason and maybe they feel he isn't ready

Pasztor hasn't been that bad this year so far except for yesterday and let's be honest, he ran into a very good Dline in Miami... he's probably not as bad as they made him look on sunday. Having said that, if the powers in Berea think that SHON Coleman is a better option, by all means.. make the switch.
I'm more worried about Packey to be honest

Like you eluded to, would we really be going backwards by testing the waters with other players? No... But if we haven't seen that happen yet, one questions the readiness of the other player. The offensive line coach seems like a no bs kinda guy. Personally, my vote is for playing someone else and giving them a shot.

Pasztor hasn't been that bad this year so far except for yesterday This is not true. In another thread it was posted that before yesterday he was ranked 64th out of 68 tackles, so, yeah, that is not true. Yesterday may drop him to 70 out of 68.

Pastor is a good guard but horrible tackle. Doesnt have the feet to protect the edge. Everyone he has faced has made him look pathetic. Guy has more penalties than the rest of the team combined.

Just as there have been adjustments on the dline based on performance, i'm confident the same will be done for the oline.
I expect to see some change on the next games depth chart.

I'd expect changes too. I see no harm in trying to switch it up here

Although, I can see them not wanting to tamper too much with the OL in one week ... 2 new spots was enough.
Anybody notice how Bailey looked in particular?

IMHO, we need a RT. The answer isn't on this team. we've got 38 draft picks, one of them should be a RT. Another should be a center. And maybe, just maybe, we'll use our #1 first round pick on a QB.

We have two guys that we drafted in 2016 that should at least get a shot at playing right tackle. With that said, rookie tackles (and rookies in general) are usually terrible. Coleman and Drango were drafted to replace Schwartz, we should probably see how either or both of them perform before we call to draft a right tackle on the next draft.

The Browns want Coleman to be the RT. But he missed all of the OTAs due to injury and spent Training Camp still recovering and building strength. The team has been bringing him along slowly to avoid a setback. They don't want to put him in too soon only to have to go back to Pasztor, (or someone else), because he's not ready. Once he starts they don't want to have to look back.
Some of that is simply fact and some of it just makes sense to me.

Yeah, maybe you're right. I just wonder why Pasztor is starting ahead of them. He didn't look that great in pre-season. You'd think they'd be bringin Coleman (probably ahead of Drango) along unless he just flat-out too raw to put in there. So maybe he makes a leap next year, or maybe they put him in there at some point this year. It's definitely a question that needs answered though.

I expect that to be the case. He has progressed to the point where he was a healthy scratch. This Pasztor thing might rush things along but I really hope they stick to their guns and not put Coleman out there until they're sure he's ready.

We may not want to rush him, but may be in emergency mode. And I do have to say that some of the most impressive play this year has come from the rookies.

I think that we'll see Drango before we see Coleman .... this year, anyway.

I don't think at RT unless they don't feel Coleman's ready and just can't go through another game with Pasztor.

I don't think at RT unless they don't feel Coleman's ready and just can't go through another game with Pasztor. I would be stunned if they feel that Coleman is ready to go at RT. He had almost no preseason, and needed to learn pro pass blocking from the ground up. He was our only healthy scratch (inactive) yesterday for a reason.

I agree Good guard, poor tackle Too bad Bailey can't play RT either Moving Pasztor to RG when we moved Greco to Center would have been the move

Cameron Wake always kicks our butt. I'm sure the coaches would love for Drango or Shon to look good enough to start them at RT so they could put Pasztor back inside.

I don't understand why we didn't give Pasztor more help. He struggled all game and yet we kept having him out there one on one with a speed rusher.
His strength is definitely the running game. He's not a great tackle, but at the same time we kept asking him to do the thing he is the worst at.
I don't know if Hue hasn't found his rhythm yet as the play caller or what. I actually think Horton has done more with less on D. The injuries might make it difficult to hone in on a gameplan/offensive identity, but I don't think Pazstor passblocking w/o help should be a big part of it ever.
I wouldn't mind seeing Shon Coleman, but let's not rush him out there till he is 100%.
I still kind of want to see how Pazs at G and Drango at T looks.

If Pasztor is that far ahead of everyone else the way Hue claimed during his presser, Jimmy should clear house of this front office. Pasztor is the worst starting tacle in the league and if we have 3 more tackles worse than him on our roster, someone needs fired.

In my opinion, no one has been worse than Erving. I wish one of the other guys could actually be a decent RT, so we could keep Greco at center and put Pazstor at guard.
Heck, I wish we would have kept Schwartz...........but this FO didn't think he was worth the money.

Greco did a good job at center and the Browns should just keep him there...but they won't. As soon as Erv is healthy enough they will stick him back in at center.
I'm anxious to see Shon Colman at RT...let's find out what kind of OT he is.
