John Kerry is an excellent person, so thanks.

i think that was his biggest problem.

he went in on Hillary on the trade deals. he absolutely shined on that.

however, he failed to hammer any other issue. and thats where he faltered.

Neither of these candidates should be there. I cannot believe these are the best last ones standing.

I've said that for a long time now. What a choice! A loud mouth narcissist and a NWO she devil. Good grief!

For what it's worth, I thought Hillary came across as more likable then Trump.

Time for bed.

I feel Trump was very, very good early. He killed Hillary on trade deals. However, he couldn't get out of his way on certain things. The birther question was handled badly. Also, he answered the racial question terribly.

You don't suggest fixing rational relations by saying you need tougher law enforcement. You open by saying you want to bridge the gaps and conflicts.

You do as I do and choose not to vote! In good conscious I cannot bring myself to vote for either of these crap candidates. Both of them are an absolute disgrace to the office of the president of the United States.

Yet I still see people who are good with defending their crappy candidate. Usually, by attacking the person they aren't voting for. I find it odd that people feel such glee just because they are "winning" against the other "side". And, for most of you, don't pretend you aren't. It's disgusting, and you bask in it.

Trump had the trade deals.

but isn't that what he's suppose to be good at?

failed at the racial topic.

failed at the birther topic

failed at the foreign policy topic

Trump just shouted and yelled, went off on tangents, rarely answered the question, interrupted, was rude to the moderator and plugged his own companies and himself at least half a dozen times.

What an embarrassment.

I'll put it this way, I don't blame people who are left bewildered with the two choices. Trump had some very high highs but also just could not give up a few topics and looked bad on those. It's like, just let the moderator move on and double down on a more favorable topic. Come on man!

Hillary was her same unenthusiastic self, and made a couple extremely classless and unprovoked comments about racism and sexism. She was actually the one on the offensive more. However, she was more consistent in her responses in regards to policy and that counts. She seemed more prepared for the debate and its questions whereas it was obvious Trump was improvising at times and struggled.

Oh most definitely. It has totally solidified to me that BOTH candidates are unfit to be president!

The Time.com poll asking who won the debate has Trump at 54% and Hillary at 46%. >180,000 voters

I'm not sure what to think really, I looked at is as basically a draw and Trump usually dominates on internet engagement stats, so 54% is a little underwhelming there.

I'm wondering what the next topics will be, as they didn't cover even half of the issues.

I have Sirius xm and I'm listening to these conservatives play damage control.

Damn I didn't think he did that bad. Obviously that opinion isn't shared much.

I think it was telling that Hannity has to do some damage control for Trump. Trump flat out needs to learn to pick and choose his battles better. He also needs to stop talking like he did in the primaries. I have felt for months now that this will come down to if Hillary can hold on to Colorado and Pennsylvania. I think she's safe with Pennsylvania, but I feel Colorado will decide the whole thing.

It was troubling to see conservatives say Obama doesn't command respect from world leaders, yet their conservative candidate just went on stage and basically told the same world leaders to go Screw themselves.

Trump better get it together on foreign policy come next debate. Tonight was not a good showing on that topic.

But people have been saying this since American elections began. Just different people. Still, we have them, and I'll participate this Nov. Even if I feel uninspired by the choices I'm given, I'll vote.

Why?

1. Because as a citizen, it's my personal obligation be an active participant in America's political process.
2. Because I can.
3. Because My Great-Grandfather couldn't.

I won't be sitting this one out, personal apathy notwithstanding.

It ain't odd, Jules.
It's just 'people'... doin' what they do.

We need to share a couple drinks.... and talk about these Dawgtalkers behind their backs.

My sides might ache after the evening concludes, but it will have been time well-spent for me.

Your mileage may vary (...can't vouch for how much fun I might be...)

If anyone wants to know why these numbers are why they are, check out the website. It will tell you all that you need to know. I'm surprised Trump has only 82%

No matter who won the debate, we will all lose.

So honest question for everyone on both sides.

Did one single person watch this debate and change their thoughts on who they want as the next president??
