Wouldn't it be smart to PH for Lonnie here against a lefty?

lets go

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

If Perez goes yard here, I'll lose it.

...ha ha ha, I was asking for too much.

Napoli really swings through a lot of pitches that he should at least make contact with. I really like him, but I can't believe how often he swings and misses balls that he should hit....

He does well for what we can afford as a team. It'll suck to not have him if he wants more money next season, or if he stays and the production dips a bit due to age.

Shaw is the bp version of bauer. No lead is safe. That bases loaded opportunity really hurt. Boston has a great offense. We have to score with them

he really dropped off as the second half progressed, 194 strikeouts isn't really acceptable. 34 hr isn't really that impressive anymore. He's cheap and was a good bargain find. But making playoffs hopefully dolans use this as a chance to spend money. I think a lot of napolis success came from playing at the jake

I really didn't like pitching Miller three innings that early. Now we have to watch wickman err Allen. I'd let Bauer get out the inning and pitch otero in the 6th

The 2nd pitch of that Lonnie AB was far enough inside, he should have let it hit him. What a waste of a leadoff single.

I think they walked back those comments a little after seeing the replay. I thought it wasn't a swing in real time myself.

They were just reacting to Pedroia's reaction. I bet he takes his objection back after seeing that swing.

Was it the same guy that was a homer all night long? Wasn't he the guy that was saying that a little bounce of the bag during a slide should count as an out if the tag is applied? There were a couple other moments where I was saying to myself that this guy was pulling pretty hard for the Sox.

Awesome win. Tito managed the pitching perfectly.

I watched the game from my hotel bar in Chicago. Back on the road tomorrow and headed up to the game. Can't wait!

Watching the postgame, Pedro Martinez is pissed the Indians won. Haha.

Kipnis had a hell of a game. Otero will be fresh tomorrow.

Terry Francona is a genius.

I think he's having a Hall of Fame career.

I don't recall ever seeing a MLB manager have such a positive impact on winning a game.

His strategic moves yesterday were very unique (very different than I've ever seen before) and very effective. It gave the Indians the best chance of winning a game in which they were absolute underdawgs.

The Tribe beat the (soon to be announced) AL Cy Young winner. And the number #1 scoring team in the Majors this year.

Porcello only lost 4 games in the last 162. Now he's 0-1 in the 2016 playoffs courtesy of the Cleveland Indians.

Francona, through his player development and moves and game day strategies, won that game.

An amazing win. A huge win. A great win for Cleveland.

Go Tribe!

Yan who?

What an unlikely first game hero.

Perez single-handedly accounted for the Indians offensive (and defensive actually) part of the win yesterday.

1) First by tagging out that second runner trying to score in the first inning. (And by vehemently arguing the initial “safe” call)

2) Showing the rest of the Tribe how easy it was to homer off Porcello.

That’s two runs right there. Indians lose 4-3.

Assist to Francona for playing and boosting Perez's confidence.

The Sox were really cocky jerks yesterday.

They just knew they were going to paste the hapless Indians.
