No one can tell me that Erving was not a downgrade this week ..... but losing Bitonio almost forced us to play him. He was awful, and there were far too many explosions right through the middle of our line this week.
We have to be able to run the ball, and we were completely incapable of doing so. I think that this also comes back to the OL.
We had a couple of drops.
I think that Kessler played a legitimately pro game today. He did about all he could. There were little things that don't show up unless you're looking for them. like receivers running along the sidelines and allowing themselves to be pinned so they stand no chance of making a play. I saw that happen a few times today.
There are a lot of "young player" problems. We lost Haden before the game, and then lost Poyer during the game. Now I am not a big Poyer fan, but his absence meant that we had yet another rookie in the game.
I am absolutely shocked at how a team that is so young has been so snake-bitten by injuries. It is flat out scary.
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
John 14:19 Jesus said: Because I live, you also will live.
