Odd, I was just reading Hooper's old posts.
He was a regular poster on all the forums up to ~ 5 years ago. The Cavs, music, politics, college football, NASCAR, The Indians...
Since then, he has only posted the "Dawg Talkers Pick'ems" in the Gaming forum.
And all business, no chit chat.
That's it. Just the thread for the "Pick'ems during every football season. For 5 years. Nothing else.
I just don't understand.
I suppose some day a Ph.D. candidate will do their doctoral thesis on social media behavior.

Can't speak for Hooper but, personally as someone who goes way back on these boards, I don't post much here anymore because I simply don't like it anywhere near as much as I used to. The board AND the Browns. Sure, I still love the Browns, but about 6-7 years ago something just snapped and I'm nowhere nearly invested in them as I used to be.
As for the board - I don't like the tone, I don't care for a lot of the people and I loathe a lot of the subject matter. I post in the general sports forum for the most part and read through the rest a couple times a week, but that's enough.
Oh well, back to your regularly scheduled programming...

From Hooper's Gallery of Champions:  Hey, I went down to visit dunedindawg (and the Dunedindawgs Club for a Browns game) in December 2001 (after I got laid-off from my job which ended when the Twin Towers came down in September 2001). (The police openly carried M16s in the Tampa airport.)  dunedin was the president of the Dunedin Browns Backers Club. Here he is with his girlfriend and friend. (~ 14 years ago)  It's pronounced Do-Need-IN (not Dune-Din) He briefly started a Browns Message Board ~ 2002 (after posters started leaving the official board). I think it was too much work. Looks like he never made it here to DawgTalkers. What a super guy and group. (He's a big athletic guy!) There were about forty members at the club. (and I was the guest of honor)(no, really)
