That was an awesome game. Man, I was nervous there in the 9th but, we pulled it off. Thrilling. Momentum swings back in our favor! What a great weekend ahead!

Had to watch the game from my hotel out of town. Unbelievably stressful game.

What an incredible win and job by Tomlin and the bullpen.

My nerves are shot.

Headed home for game 6 (if necessary)!

Coco has been an incredible pick-up for the team. Another clutch postseason hit.

No worries on the Leadtheway, earlier this year he said Frankie was a defensive liability.

phew, what a tight game

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Jeezuz, my blood pressure can do without games like that. But the emotional explosion on strike three is worth every minute of it.

I like how this is going setting up game 4 and then 6&7 at home. Kluber only threw 85 or so pitches in game 1. He's ready tonight. Tomlin only threw 55 or so last night. He'll be good to go game 6. Francona pulling these guys when he has is a solid plan.

Miller threw 17. He's ready again tonight. We can hit Lackey. Get a lead through 6, hopefully a less than 70 or so pitch count for Kluber and turn it over to"Wipe-Out".

yep, he's manipulated the pen just perfectly enough to allow starters to remain fresh. Getting a lead has proven to be the key

Post season record FIVE shutouts only having your 1,4 & 5 starters available. Infreakingcredible.

I would seriously consider, at least at some point during the rest of the games putting Crisp at the 6 spot behind Ramirez. He's damn near hitting .400 with RISP. Ramirez has been superb with RISP all year also. Chisenhall goes to the 7 hole.

Man, that was tough to watch last night. I fell asleep and found out this morning we'd won.....1-0 Close game..wish I'd have been able to stay away. That's an edge of the seat kinda game for sure.

I believe I heard the announcers say that Lackey [their 4th guy in the rotation] is starting tonight.

Wow! What a great game!

--I know it's all opinion, but I think a 1-0 or 2-1, or even a 3-2 game is so much more exciting than those high-scoring affairs. The tension was almost off the charts last night. Each pitch, each base-running decision, each throw and tag, each managerial move, etc were so meaningful. Man, that was great!

--I also love the National League game where the pitchers hit. It adds to the strategy employed by the managers. That's an intriguing aspect of baseball.

--Tito continues to make the right moves. I thought bringing Miller in when he did was really, really risky. It could have blown up in his face, but hey, it worked. LOL

--What was Davis thinking by trying for 3rd? That was dumb and killed our chance at a big inning.

--I'm not a fan of Santana leading off. A lead-off hitter swinging for the fences when we need base runners. He could lay a bunt down the 3rd base line and make it easily.

--Shaw going the extra 2/3 of an inning in the 8th was huge!!!

--Allen was impressive at the end. The moment was not to big for him.

--I love Coco! Guy seems to always come up w/a significant play.

--Hats off to Tomlin. His control was amazing! His location was outstanding. I would have left him in for another inning, but it all worked out. Very exciting game!

Great win for us some post game thoughts

Hersbeck should never be allowed to ump a game ever, ever!

Nap and Carlos have to hit at least a little

Baserunning (reckless and dumb)

Tomlin ( superb both series )

Lonnie , anything hit near him I worry

Raj , got old and slow overnite

Shaw, superb

Fox coverage, Cubs lovefest do you have to show a close up of every Cubs fan after every pitch, Kyle this Kyle that overkill

Tito is a wizard making these moves with a limited roster

.." Fox coverage, Cubs lovefest .."

This really a tough one when your trying to enjoy the game .. Can't tell you how many time I hit the mute button and at in silence !

Still not sure why Tito pulled Josh when he did ??

I would use a combination pitcher tonight and give Kluber and extra day rest .. ( Start Merrit for three or four and then bring in Salazar for three or four ..

Nerves are a total mess after last night s game !
