So, what do we think guys?

Are we going to win it in Game 6, 7 or not at all?

I think we finish it out tomorrow in a real barn-burner and there will be an unlikely hero.

just for hope they prove me wrong, i think cubs take it...they are just too dominant pitching and our offense is bad. Tomlin is due for a stinker and Kluber is bound to be tired. What annoyed me is Tito allowed Bauer to keep pitching after he self destructed, yet yanked Tomlin when he was unhittable

the key is going to be getting a lead early and get the crowd going.. Napoli needs to produce something, we're going to need the long ball

I was hoping we would close it out last night but it is somewhat unreasonable to expect to go into Chicago and sweep 3 games from them..

The loss, I think, was not a "bad loss"... the Cubs had one good inning, it's not like their bats suddenly caught fire like they did against the Dodgers when they were struggling then went on to score 23 runs in 3 games (or something like that)..

The difference last night was that we squandered a couple good scoring opportunities with runners in scoring position, less than 2 outs, and we failed to capitalize with a sac fly or something... we have been very good at manufacturing runs and last night we missed a couple opportunities.

If you had told me after game 2 that we would go to Chicago and win 2 of 3 I would have been ecstatic... so I'm pretty happy to be where we are. You can't ask for more in the WS than coming home with 2 games to win 1.....

I think we win in game 6.

Lead don't stop. You carried the Cavs to a title. Talk about how Lindor sucks and how Napoli hits like a girl.

1) Tomlin needed to come back and pitch in 3 days.

2) Bauer gave up a home run, the other two runs were scored because of perfect bunts. I don't really call that a self-destruction.

This has been such a great October.

I've gotten to watch every Indians' game for a month!

And not only games, but postseason games against the best teams.

My daily plans have revolved around watching the Tribe.

And the 8 pm starts require extra planning, I can't go to bed at midnight on a regular basis unless I take naps. I gots stuff to do in the morning.

that doesn't mean our offense is good? go back to toronto...4 runs was the high game. most of our offense is coming off dingers...I'm talking about the staggering amount of people we leave on base...10 alone last night. We're living and dying by the long ball. Though I will say us playing 2 more at home will help tremendously as alot of the slumping guys like napoli hit better in PF. So hopefully that spurs a offensive explosion...just need an early lead and hope the crowd and the thought of closing them out fuels them. I just fear we are going to play tight

Our offense is still better than the Cubbies after 5. No idea if it will remain that way after 6 or 7 but, I sure hope so.

You are the only person I know that wouldn't take a World Championship because we left a dozen baserunners on and won 2-1.

Lead, do me a solid and talk about how Tomlins pitching has been a fluke and that he's lucky to not have a 13.49 ERA.

If you’re a Conspiracy Theorist (like one of my older brothers), than you know the Indians biggest foe in tonight’s game is the “12th Man”.

10th Man - Francona
11th Man - The Home field Cleveland fans
12th Man - The Billions of dollars that want to see a game seven

And if you're a real Conspiracy Theorist don't forget the "13th Man".

I'm wondering, if it goes to game 7... with Kluber pitching...

I suppose the Tribe might be favored.

Regardless, I'm headed out this morning to stock-up on cheese potato perogis for tonight's game.

We've got the trump card... the 14th man. The Cavs (LeBron) petitioned the NBA and got the Cavs game moved up to 6:00pm. LeBron, Kyrie and the rest of the team all said that they are headed over to Progressive Field after their game to watch the Tribe. We're going to have the LeBron presence factor.

Games LeBron and the Cavs have been in attendance:

1) Tribes beats Toronto on Naquin inside the park HR
2) LeBron gives speech to crowd prior to game 2 of the ALDS, Tribe wins
3) Tribe beats Toronto in game 2 of the ALCS, with Cavs players sharing a suite

Looks like a beautiful day to go win a World Series, fellas!

Go Tribe!

I think a Game 7 is coming. I really like tonight's pitching matchup if I'm a Cubs fan.
Hope I'm wrong for the sake of my fellow DTers, though.

The thing is, he has to make the pitches. There is definitely more pressure on him than the Tribe. Our line-up got a good look at him last time he pitched and we have seen Chapman. I'm still feeling pretty good about tonight.

quote above by Milk:

"...the 14th man. The Cavs (LeBron)..."

I absolutely agree.

I think this is a great observation.

For more than one reason:

1) The Cleveland sports curse is over. (therefore not on the minds of the players) (LeBron and company did not have this)

2) LeBron showed that the curse could be broken.

3) Just having LeBron on your side is very reassuring. He "exudes winning". I love watching him up in the stands during the game.

4) The Cubs curse is still in effect.

But I'm still scared.
