That's probably it. And I'm sorry for the pessimism. You need to knock it off with the pessimism in the first inning. I disagree, you gotta trust your intuition. This is really, really BAD, but we still have tomorrow... Pending a miracle game tonight. As a Cleveland sports fan, I question the use of intuition specifically for the fact that it's naturally tinted with pessimism and FEAR. I'll trust what I see play out and accept the results AT THE END OF THE GAME, not before. Well, we will agree to disagree then. P.S. I just finished overeating, I think I'll vacuum now? This is rough. Going to get my pint of Pralines & Cream here in a second.

So can somebody answer my previous question, how long is normal rest for a starting pitcher? Usually 4 days minimum, sometimes longer In the playoffs, you see 3 days rest sometimes. One of the ideas is to have the ace go games 1, 4, and 7 (as we're seeing with Kluber in this series.) I'm normally not a huge fan of that approach but Francona has played it very well. It's not like there were a whole lot of options with the amount of injuries we've had. Sometimes late in the World Series you see all the rules being broken, like Madison Bumgarner with a five inning save on two days rest a couple years ago.

Because we're going to lose tonight and tomorrow. This is the same script we've seen over and over and over again throughout our Cleveland sports lives. The breaks went our way against the Warriors, but there aren't any breaks going our way right now. All I'm seeing is a team getting crushed by a huge wave of momentum. I know, I know...relax. However, we are losing by 7 in the 3rd inning. This game is over. We won't even score more than a run tonight. I've watched enough sports in my 43 years to know how this ends, regardless of the teams. We'll be lucky to score more than 2 runs by the end of tomorrow night. They are white hot with they're pitching, bats and defense. We have tired pitchers, our defense is screwing up and our bats have gone cold. You can say it's not over, but you know deep down, it is. Reality is you are right and the fact that the Cubs didn't have the best record in baseball for nothing. They have an incredible run differential (+252!). They are the better team, but I think the reason they went up 3-1 is that they had all momentum coming into the series but it's gone.

Fix the offense next year, get rid of some of the deadweight and hopefully come back next year healthy..congrats cubs for finally breaking their own curse.

They are the better team, but I think the reason they went up 3-1 is that they had all momentum coming into the series but it's gone. All of that is correct but the Cubs bats have been very streaky.. they have been shutout 4 times in the playoffs.. then they have scored 7 or 8 runs a few times.. As far as Kluber starting, it's game 7, he just has to get to the 5th inning.. if he can get into the 5th inning giving up 0 runs, we will be in good shape.

They are the better team, but I think the reason they went up 3-1 is that they had all momentum coming into the series but it's gone. All of that is correct but the Cubs bats have been very streaky.. they have been shutout 4 times in the playoffs.. then they have scored 7 or 8 runs a few times.. As far as Kluber starting, it's game 7, he just has to get to the 5th inning.. if he can get into the 5th inning giving up 0 runs, we will be in good shape. the likelihood of that is very slim. More likely however, they score 2-3 and our pathetic hitting won't score 1..its just what it is
