As well as the fact that Byron Scott sucks.

I think Luke Walton is a really smart young coach. I heard him being interviewed last year when he was filling in for Kerr and I was amazed by his intelligence.

I also think he can relate to the players pretty good. He's younger and he did play in the league.

Let's be honest, was there ever a year when Kobe wasn't a distraction at some point, Lakers should have moved on from him about 5 years ago, he really set them back chasing personal glory

Don't know who caught the game last night, but Channing Frye has been a heck of a pickup. It's nice to have a 7' footer who's near automatic from the three-point line.

Also, have to mention, the Cavs put Frye, Lebron, Shump, Jefferson and McRae to finish out the game in the 4th quarter, and those 5 did the job. Great defense and enough offense to get the win. Gutsy move from Ty Lue too. Keeping 4 of his starters on the bench, to stick with the guys that were getting the job done.

Dif teams, but the Timberwolves pretty much followed the 76ers strategy, with no backlogging positions in the draft. But seriously though. The kids, younger than 25, on that team, were all top 10 HS recruits. Oh, except for Zach Lavine who was a top 50 recruit. Even the people who are 26, which is still nearing the peak of your career, were also top 10 recruits already playing in the NBA when they were 18. Overall, the team is still very young, gifted offensively and can be very boneheaded. Probably one of my favorite teams to watch in the past two years.

I agree. He looks like a guy who will win a lot of games over the course of his coaching career. I was also impressed at how he stepped into a really difficult situation, when Kerr was out.

I think that the Lakers got a really good one.

Lebron 28

Channing 21
Kevin 19
Tristan 15

Toronto lead 110-103 with 4:21 left. Cavs respond by closing the game on a 18-7 run. Nice finish.

Yes and alittle more team ball. I think they are finally getting comfortable with each other and most importantly having fun.

great win last night ... i've been impressed with our intensity

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Channing Frye is hitting 51% of his three pointers this year. shocked He's been huge in the last few games, and has been getting minutes over TT at the end of games now too. What a pickup hes been.

Seem to be alot more relaxed this year, focused too I'd say. Still have defensive lapses but none of the games do you get the feeling like they won't win or come back and win, they all seem to still be having fun which imo goes along way. Frye has been huge, he neutralizes bigs with his range, that's also keeping the hits down on lebron and kyrie as they now have a clear lane, I almost felt sorry for Valaciunas having to chase frye all over the court, when TT and Frye were on the floor together TT feasted. I like how Lue isn't set into any one rotation yet, no reason to this early. I do think we're going to have to address the bench and backup pg eventually and I'm confident Griffin will pull another frye like deal out of his bag around the deadline. As far as the bad, there isn't much, other than Dunleavey and Mcrae, and shump as a PG is hard to watch. RJ seems to never age, and we have Frye, but I think we still need to tidy up the bench, I don't think Felder is an NBA player, didn't really care for the pick but when you're low on picks and you just won it all, you can take risks. I just wish we could fast forward to april

A pretty good, quality win for the Cavs last night against a team that could give us fits this year. I love the team chemistry. It seems to have improved and grown stronger from last year's team.

Cavs lost tonight, but it was about a mailed in game as you can get. Was a traveling back-to-back, and JR and Lebron both sat. Bench guys got extended minutes in the 3rd and 4th, even when it was still a pretty close game.

If they can get a solid young PG/Ball handler type player they'd be the next OKC.

Went up to the game tonight with my wife and kids. Had a blast as always at Cavs games. Such an entertaining atmosphere.

I told my kids that I hope one day they look back and appreciate that they are getting to watch in person one of the best (if not arguably the best) players to ever play the game in LeBron James.

The fans were going nuts at the end rooting for Birdman to drain a 3, lol.

That's awesome! We're going to the game Nov.25th. vs. the Mavs. It'll be nice to see Nowitzky before he hangs it up. It also should bring back some good memories for Andrew Bogut and Harrison Barnes, lol.

What's funny is that the same seats we got for $100 last year (row 11 midcourt lower) are going for over 500 apiece this year. Both were Friday night games around this same time of year. We'll be sitting up top this year, lol. What a difference a championship makes.

Are you buying tickets directly from the Cavs? I was able to get tickets to last night's game in section 123, row 8, for $70/ticket + service fees after bidding on them in the secondary market.

Tough to get as good of deals if you purchase too far in advance, however. The seller can be more patient.

Last year we did buy the tickets last minute from Flashseats. This year, I got second row in the upper deck close to mid court for 85 apiece....my problem was that I needed 3 tickets (the wife wanted to go with us this time). Buying an odd number like that ups the cost. Those 500+ seats were for a pair, though.
