We are not winning a game.

McCown looks like he is done.

We could take a developmental guy if we trade back up into the first with our high second, but I'm not taking any of these QBs with our regular 1st round picks. I'd much rather try to get Hooker (FS) and Peppers (Big Nickel/SS in base) and King (CB). Maybe Myles when/if we can't get Collins re-signed, though I like secondary first and maybe a pass rusher like Fields later.

Our safeties are bad, and our CBs are right there with them.

The refs were bad as usual.

Kessler wasn't good, but maybe try coaching him on the sideline instead of pulling him. McCown was worse. I like Hue as a coach at practice, but game days have been underwhelming. He needs to get better. It's easiest to fix things between seasons though.

Meder is a solid bottom of the roster, do things right, effort guy, and I like him as a person, but I wouldn't have him in the game on third and long with time running down.

Our OL looks really bad. Then decent for a short stretch. Then really bad again. They need to get consistent and gain chemistry. All the changes and injuries are killing us. Not sure how our protections are set up either. Might need to change something up.

There was a DeValve sighting. Hopefully he stays healthy and can get reps. Speed at TE can open up a lot for other people.

My personal opinion are that the 2 best Qb eligible for next year's draft are Webb and Mahomes (in no particular order). I'm a little intrigued by Falk but haven't seen him other than his numbers.

Heard good things about Austin Allen Arkansas. I have not seen him or his numbers and I don't even know if he is draft eligible.

When you refuse to make the play called as the QB, the coach has no choice but to bench you.

I fully expect Hue to destroy Kessler in his post game presser. He's going to throw the kid under the bus. And he should, IMO. Throw the damn ball. It's not that hard.

Keser has a poor NFL arm. Let's accept that.
Is RG3 going to be ready soon ?

I would take Garret #1 overall
With the 2nd pick I would like the Wisconsin tackle or Robinson Alabama if available
In the second I would like Joudan Lewis Cb Michigan or Sidney Jones Cb Washington
I would take Mahomes/Webb/Falk in the 2nd (maybe the 2nd 1st rounder as long as it isn't #22)
In the 3rd there is a FS out of UCONN that looks good - Obi Melifonwi

I would also be happy with
Adams S LSU
Hooker S OSU
Peppers
Tim Williams Alabama
Jonathon Allen Alabama

We also need to find a center somewhere

Also, Ryan runs the same defense that Pettine just ran here. Even more also, Ryan gave up defensive playcalling this season because he was terrible.

6.

....?

So are you arguing we should draft o-line help then? I doubt 6 quarterbacks are just magically frail.

We have zero qb's to build around on the roster.

Look at this game. Our QB's have time to throw.

They ain't cutting it. Can't throw deep. Can't do much of anything.

We need somebody with some freaking talent man. Somebody that can force the defense to take 8 out the box.

We tried the late first, late round, other teams garbage way.

Time to go get the best QB in the top of the draft.

You have no other choice! You have to take a QB with that first pick, but I bet ya anything they trade it.

OMFG Detroit had it worse than we do they legit went 0-16. we are not there yet...shhh what did we expect? at the start of the season i was saying 5 or 6 wins. not I'd be happy with 1 or 2 at this point.

the lions sucked for a long, long time.
and turned it around for....one year...nevermind

no other choice other than pick a QB with the 1st overall pick.

Really?? so let's take a 5th rounder number one overall? just because. hell no. RGIII coming back so I say BPA #!

Terrible. Terrible. Terrible decision.
13-7 then you pull Kessler?

Hue showed his impatience there and was chasing after a spark that doesnt exsist with Drago.

Huge, huge mistake.
I dont like the way Hue has handled the QB position past couple weeks

j/c...

- Al Michaels equated Collins being traded to the Browns to having to move from Beverly Hills to Vladivostok. Admittedly, I chuckled.

- The Browns called two timeouts with the first 4 minutes of the game.

- Hue w/ the knee jerk reaction to pull Kessler is a warning sign. This team is in full blown panic/desperation mode.

- I'm not sure I have ever witnessed a team with so little NFL quality talent in my life. Things are getting exponentially worse.

- I fully expect Pryor and Collins to bolt as soon as FA hits. The Browns will have to severely overpay to retain any true talent.

- Given the state of this franchise, the Browns being put in receivership by the NFL would not surprise me.

Haslam should give season ticket holders some money back.

Perhaps $20 for each quarter they attend the rest of the year.

Hue absolutely made the right decision to bench Kessler. Was anyone watching the receivers reaction after plays? They were like "pass the ball dipwad".

He gave Jackson no choice. Kessler isn't playing because of Kessler and no one else.

We have 4th string guys starting at QB, but people still don't want us to take a QB with the first pick. lol

WTF does Hue do at half time .. what ever it is .. he needs to switch it up ...

this whole tear down is probally too much for a coach like Hue to endure
he's walking into the OK Corral with water guns vs the Clantons
funny at the start of the year there was those predicting a wild card spot for the Browns
now they disappear

Tailgating with Columbus and crew is more fun... Last week no-one wanted to go into the game.

Does anyone know what McCown's record is as a starter over his career? Dude is just bad, like Jason Campbell bad. Somehow he just keeps getting snaps in the NFL. Must really impress in practice.

18-41 as a starter overall. 2 wins in his last 21 starts. This was our supposed "spark."

Hue was desperate for a win tonight.

How much longer are we going to keep passing on talent because we need a QB? Talent that can be the foundation of a team and get you going in the right direction.

BUILD THE TEAM FIRST. It's how well run organizations such as Pittsburgh and Baltimore did it. Who was the last team to win a super bowl that built around their QB instead of building the team?

I don't understand how u can be so upset loss after loss ... your like a 2 year old after every game ...

Dude ... this is 100% HUES FAULT ....

- Cody should not have played this year ... he's not ready ...
- Hue threw him under the bus last week .. u don't have that conversation with the PRESS and all of C-Twon .. u have it with CODY in private ...

U seriously have no clue what Hue did ... NONE ...

This one ain't going to go over very well .. but its 100% TRUE ...

HUE SCAPEGOATED A ROOKIE to save face .... thats the move of a LOSER not a LEADER!!!

- Hue SUCKED all Cody's CONFIDENCE out of him ...

He also PUBLICLY put Cody in the position to do something he's NOT COMFTORABLE DOING and its not in his SKILL SET at this point ... it may never be .. but u certainly shouldn't FORCE HIM to do it now by saying that at a presser ....

Cody needs Hue's support not to be his SCAPEGOAT!!

- then he benches him tonight ... I COULD hear Cody's CONFIDENCE being sucked right out of him ...

Not sure what Hue should do now ... he ruined Cody for this year ...

What i do know .. is based on how Hue's handling this ... i'm confident whatever the worst thing Hue could do ... WILL BE DONE ..

U made your bed Hue .. to bad Cody's buried under it ...

Damn I'm mad. I gave this team too much credit when I predicted 1-15. I knew this roster was awful, but I didn't think Hue was going to be such a dud.

I don't know... The Browns are the only team to have 5 starting QB's this season.... Injuries at the QB have been a burden..

What else is there to do ? We pick up Whitehurst and he gets hurt...

Like or dislike Hue... What options are out there ?... I wanted to see Kessler over McCown... Kessler was Drafted to be a Browns QB...so lets see what we have.

The Offense put up points...the Defense allowed points..it's a throw away season...

There are some well established HC's with winning records in the past...with established vets.. that are on the hot seat this season..

Losing is pissing everyone off... The reality of this season wasn't a playoff birth...

Hell Goff is still sitting on the Pine in LA... If you were a Rams fan...wouldn't you want to get a look at your #1 Rookie ?

I was hoping for a win tonight but clearly the world had already had one surprise this week so, a Browns win wasn't going to happen.

What a miserable game. I am beginning to wonder when I need to reclaim these days, hours, minutes of my life back.

In today 's game

He completed 11-of-18 passes for 91 yards and a 25 yd TD pass - most of it in the air, not a 3 yard pass +22 yard run. Plus at least 2 blatant pass interferences that weren't called. Zero interceptions

Josh McCown completed six-of-13 passes for 59 yards with no touchdowns, two interceptions and a lost fumble

I would rather have had Cody play the 2nd half.
