In fairness, you can't bring in all new people with zero experience, because that would be a disaster, especially in foreign relations and defense.

I am impressed that trump seems able to be able to overlook things that were said about him during the campaign. Of course, those coming in to apply for jobs also have to overlook what he said about them. it just seems like he understands that he doesn't have to love every person in his administration, as long as they can do a good job.

I didn't vote for Trump, but he is doing things a whole lot better than I would have ever expected.

Guys like Newt, Christie, and Giuliani stink. However, they don't scare me, because I don't see them as bat ish crazy. If Trump wants them, I won't lose too much sleep. They're sleazeballs, but I don't think they'd be extreme.


A guy like Bannon terrifies me if he has power. Even Trump knows this.

Newt just got booted from the Cabinet.

Gingrich says he won’t hold Cabinet post under Trump

Former House speaker Newt Gingrich said Thursday he will not serve in President-elect Donald Trump’s Cabinet.

“I want to be free to network across the whole system and look at what we have to do to succeed,” Gingrich said when briefly reached by phone. Holding a Cabinet post would have been “not physically doable,” he said.

The remarks from the former GOP presidential candidate, 73, came after he told McClatchy he intends to focus on “strategic planning” during the Trump administration rather than run a federal department. The former House speaker said he does not plan to hold any official role under Trump.

Gingrich’s name had been mentioned for health and human services secretary and secretary of state. An active surrogate for Trump during the campaign, the former Georgia Republican lawmaker was long expected to take a role in the administration.

“New Gingrich is going to be involved in our government,” Trump said on the campaign trail in July.

Unfortunately for my sanity, this is far from the only article of this nature. Guys like him are coming out of the woodwork. They have officially ascended past just being internet trolls.

Like terrorist, they have gained legitimacy with a Trump presidency and a Bannon cabinet position.

I'm watching KKK members rally in success. I'm watching white nationalist all over media spread their message far more louder and effective than any BLM movement.

I'm literally watching the same groups who celebrated the lynching of black people from slavery times until the end of Jim Crow praise trump and claim victory for white supremacy.

And yet, I'm watching trump supporters and conservatives, specifically people on this board, try and tell the rest of us to give this a chance?

Why on earth would I give white supremacy a chance?

A lot of you white guys either don't, or refuse to understand.

But as a minority, am seriously scared right now. So if this is what taking your country back looks like, then don't think for one second I should believe anything you guys have to say with regards to minority relations in this country.

Right now I have zero reason to be optimistic about anything.

How do you go from almost 70 million for Obama to barely 50 million for Hillary. It's not like all of those people voted Trump because he didn't even get Romney or McCain numbers.

Come on now, they have hated Blacks since long before I was born and could have wiped you out. One thing stopped them. It was the rest of us White folk and our government, of which you were a small minority, who infiltrated them, arrested their leaders, and told the rest of them to go home and get a life.
