Went to the game last night, and WOW. It seemed like they found the open man every time down the court, the passing was so quick and crisp. Lue has these guys playing at a level that is unbelievable. When Lebron and JR are off like than and they can still go 40pts up, it's a wonderful thing. Dallas is really bad. Nowitzky looks sooooo slow anymore. It was like the Globetrotters vs. the NJ Generals second string. One of the highlights of the game was watching Lebron and co. going nuts on the bench when JJ drained those threes. I hope they showed that on TV.

Cavs are stinkin' it up tonight. Middle of the 3rd, Lue put all of the starters on the bench. It's good to see Delly out there.

Yeah, they look awful. I wonder if Delly took them all out for a night of beer pong last night and they are all hung over.

Lue sure seems ticked at the starters though.

Garbage tonight, playing down to a crap team like this, still chasing GS, who look pretty unbeatable right now. Lue has to realize you still have to play defense

Are they just tired? How many games in a row does this make?

we still don't have a true rim protector..TT is so inconsistent and he struggles against longer teams as he's undersized, Thats been our problem for awhile, we just got lucky with GS as they were built just like us, had a rim protector but it didn't work for their personnel. Griff is going to have to decide if we need one this year, but giving up 68 points in the paint is worrisome, regular season or not, our defense hasn't done anything all year, we've just been able to outscore everyone. Now that we won a championship, the regular season is 100x more boring now..its like why bother. JR is broken, I still don't understand why in professional sports teams reward players for holding out. It's detrimental to the team..And almost always those that hold out, don't appear to have been worth the wait.. The only team i can think of that doesn't play that game is NE.. Wish more teams were like that . Tomorrows game easily the biggest test of the year, it'll be interesting to see how we defend Griffin/Jordan after the Greek Alphabet torched our bigs

you need to chill out. i dunno why you're taking it so seriously.

it's the beginning of the season. we're no where close to it being all star break yet.

the Cavs are 13-3, but have historically turned it up a few levels after the all-star break.

our defense wasn't that great at times last year....and look how our defense turned out come playoffs.

I have a couple of facts about the Cavs:

--Fact: They won the NBA Championship last year.

--Fact: They are 13 and 3 this year.

--Fact: Love and Kyrie are more comfortable this year and are more productive.

--Fact: The Cavs turned up the defensive intensity in the playoffs last year. Their team defense against Curry and Klay were a huge factor in beating Golden State in the Finals.

I don't need to do jack squat...all i did was simply say the defense has sucked...which it has, and has no relevance on post season, sooner or later you aren't going to be able to jsut turn it on if you haven't done it for 6 months, I'm not taking it seriously, as i said, my posts are simply talking points of what i've seen..then your garbage of right on cue...yeah pisses me off because its childish.. Yeah i get we will lose games, my point is simply we aren't even trying on defense. Then the article comes out with Lue saying he doesn't really feel putting an emphasis on traditional defense is where the game is going. Thats all worrisome to me. Only so much good to talk about and it gets boring, its the weaknesses that stir debate and actually make the season entertaining. Everyone knows we're a great offensive team, but we are getting hammered in the paint...that will cause issues, playoffs or not...granted Frye isn't back yet and he's better at defending paint against longer players...but the stuff i've seen against philly and last night doesn't look good. Sure when we're shooting well we will outscore everyone, when you're scoring 112 a game and yet giving up 104, thats not alot of margin for when shots stop falling. Lue took everyone out last night because they simply couldn't defend, even when he put them back in, they still didn't have the ability even though the "want to" after having the message sent. Cavs live/die with offense, if its going well, then they defend well, should be the opposite, defense should ignite the offense when its sputtering

FACT: Who gives a flying F about last year...thats over and done with...yes Kyrie and Love are playing much better, however TT and JR are playing worse...so there that. Point is what happened last year in no way dictates the success or failure of this year, Lets see how well we defend curry and klay now they have Durant instead of Harrison Barnes to defend as well. Not saying they can't, but it goes to what I'm saying, last year means nothing moving forward other than another year of playing together should make things easier to do what they want to do.

it wasn't...the results are worse this year because they aren't even trying..last year you can tell they were trying to play defense because Blatt demanded it, they just couldn't execute, this year i don't believe is an execution issue, i believe its a effort and philosophy according to what Lue has said to the media

The defending champions are champions until they are not. It's always been that way. You can't just discount the fact that they won the championship last year.

I think your memory is off regarding the defensive intensity last year. Heck that was the one thing you and I agreed on. We had a bunch of guys, led by LeBron, who didn't even run back in transition.

yes, but you have to give the other teams credit.

look, teams, especially in the east, are trying to make a name for themselves. they are gonna bring it every single time they play the Cavs, especially a team like the bucks who are trying to make the playoffs.

this is the the third year and a row where you have trashed TT, and what happen the last two years? you turned around and was giving praise to TT for dominating the paint and boards in the playoffs.

the bucks just couldn't miss a shot. the stars were aligned for them last night man. those kind of games happen.

the spurs just lost to orlando at home. the clippers just lost to the freaking nets. down games happen.

our team isn't even trying and they are scoring over 100 at will. and yes, you can just turn it on with regards to defense whenever you please. the cavs have done that two years already.

I wasn't beginning to feel nervous. Lead hadn't said anything negative about the Cavs in awhile.

How much weed does JR Smith smoke before a game? Did you guys hear his response about hugging Jason Terry?

These are new members of the team this year.

Mo Williams: is he retired? Isn't he retired? He is taking up a roster spot.

Channing Frye's parents have both died this season. He has missed the past couple of games as a result of his mother's passing.

JR Smith has been struggling offensively. Shump has had a hamstring.

It can take a team time to gel. It appears that Lebron, Love, and Kyrie have figured out how to play together extremely well, but we have a lot of new pieces to assimilate into the team. We lost Delly, who was one of the better defenders we had.

I am not going to freak out because our team, the defending champions, has to figure out how to make all of the new pieces work, 16 games into an 82 game season.

Just my $0.02 worth.

All players that won't play in the Finals or most of the playoffs unless it's a blowout.

The Cavs have an 82 game preseason until the season starts.

They'll turn it on when it matters.

When I watch the league, it's impossible to deny there is a monsterous gap between Golden State + Cleveland and the rest of the league.
