Now that was clever. If the bungles were smart, they would have also committed a deliberate penalty. They would have had to replay the down on the offsetting penalties, wouldn't they? The game can't end on a defensive penalty.

Wouldn't that just be offsetting penalties and a replay of an untimed down?

Hue can't even get TO's or end of half/game playcalls right ... HE'S BRUTAL ... did it again today ...

No reason to not stop the clock 3 times before the 2 minute warning in true 2nd half ... NONE ... STUPID ... he let 24 seconds run off the clock so we would have 1 TO to use after we stopped it twice after the 2 minute warning .. .

MORONIC ... not sure he's done the right thing yet at the end of a half or game ...

Its almost like he says ... HMMMM .... what's the STUPIDEST way I can handle it and then he does it ...

Shanny is definelty the best game planner in football today ... he puts in plays that give his players there best chance to suceed ...

He really knows how to create a game plan and make adjustments to the flow of the game ...

He has some talent there with Julio and the 2 RB's .. he's getting a career year out of Ryan and is using his role players about as well as can be expected ...

Well, he is almost 40...you have to think he does not have much time left before he just won't have the recovery or arm to do what he needs too...much like Manning I think..it will be really interesting to see how he continues this year and next year....

Carr is out ... did sumptin to his hand ... not sure what he did ... turned the channel late and he was shaking it ... he didn't come out for the next series ...

Looked like he dislocated the pinky on his right hand. He dropped the snap and just took off away from the play holding his hand. He was in pain.

just watched the replay of Den/KC ... WOW what a game. Best of the year.

And both teams are about 1,000,000% better than we are

Thoughts:

--Atlanta is in first place w/guys the Browns did not want. Shanny, Mack, and Gabriel. We are so smart. But damn, their offense is so good. Fun to watch. Their D is still an issue, though. The one thing they can do is put some heat on the passer.

--Goff looked better this week. But New Orleans just blew-up the Rams' D. Brees amazes me. He throws from his tip-toes. How the hell does he do that?

--The Bears dropped two possible game-winning TDs in the final minutes and lost by 6. Man, that first drop was hard to fathom.

--I was surprised at how Tampa Bay beat-up Seattle. The Seahawk's OL is horrible, but I didn't think they would get dominated that bad. If this keeps up, R. Wilson will not make it through the season.

--How does NE allow the Jets to hang around?

--The Oakland/Carolina game was entertaining. Oakland's O is legit and they can rush the passer w/Mack and Irvin, but their secondary is pretty weak, as our their ILBers. Gonna be tough to make a run in the playoffs w/a D that gives up around 30 a game.

--Justin Houston---------the pass rusher for KC-----is a scary man. I saw his face on one of his many sacks. He was coming around the edge as Simien was rolling to his left. Houston looked like a very large devil. Simien almost crapped himself. What a great pass rusher!

--And Denver counters w/Miller and Ware. Awesome. Man, that game proved the importance of a great pass rush.

Man, I wish a few of you would have watched the Denver/KC game. It was awesome and was hoping to discuss.

A lot of guys w/strong opinions on here about the NFL, but they don't even watch the games. LOL

I watched the 2nd half Vers ... have it recorded and will watch the first half ..

What amazed me was .. in the 3rd Q and 1/2 through the 4th .. The D's DOMINATED .. HARD HARD ASS HITTING ... i remember watching Kelce a big physical boy getting hit by a DB and u could see his body compress like an accordion .. the hit was by a DB .. and he got up and walked away like nothing .. then they showed the replay in slow motion ... i CRINGED ...

Then for the last 8 mins or so and then in OT .. it was like the D's weren't even on the field .. they couldn't slow them down much less stop them ....

Great second half ..

I been moaning about our speed on D for 6 weeks now .. never seen a slower D ..

Cool. Watch the first half and we'll talk. Keep your eyes on Justin Houston for KC. Watch the play where he comes off the edge and is chasing Simien who is rolling left. Pause it or go slow motion and look at his face.

Anyone who has the ability to aggregate all the different big boards on the internet could have picked better than them.

Many of the players we picked had no chance because they were just bad, others had no chance because the infrastructure around them was horrible.
