...as for that 4th down spot, I think it was one of those calls on the field that won't get overturned either way. It was damn close. I'd probably lean that he got it if you had to get an answer out of me. Again, I didn't have a horse in the race.

Mich fans already ref bashing on their fourms I keep watching the vines / video tweets of them saying see - 'no first down' and I keep seeing the ball on the line for a first down.... I agree. They should be more pizzed about the PI non call in their series right before this.

OK, heart has calmed down .... Go Bucks! Man, what a great game!

You guys going to and winning the B10 helps UM's argument to be considered for the 4th spot.
Would most likely need one of Clemson or Washington to lose.

That was intense. I had to leave with 8 minutes left in the 4th. Set the DVR to record the rest. Game goes into OT. DVR stops recording in 2nd OT right before the 4th down play. Noooooooo. Then I realize I never changed the channel, so I still had the last hour I was able to rewind and catch the end of OT.
It's supposed to be hard! If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard... is what makes it great!

all I can say is: WOW
intense game. my adrenaline was pumping for the good part of 2 hours. Gutsy calls on 4th and short. Big plays by Samuel. What a win.
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Not an OSU fan asking you all. Do you want MSU to beat PSU? I ask because OSU's resume is quite solid right now. Advancing to the Big10 title game could backfire if they were to lose. Of Course not! Only an (insert name here) would want to see Mich St. beat PSU if they are a Buckeye fan, To see: what, the Buckeyes in the Big 10, meaningless conference title game, wherein you'd have to win another game to qualify for the final 4. In that, you are a 1 loss team Bottom line, if you can get into the final 4 without playing again, DO IT!!! DOOOOO IT!!!! EXACTLY LIKE, ANY NFL TEAM THAT EVER HAD A BYE BEFORE THE PLAYOFFS STARTED EXACTLY LIK ANY NFL TEAM THAT EVER HAD A BYE BEFORE THE PLAYOFFS STARTED. end of story. No way would a Sane thinker, wish to have to risk another game... vs ANYBODY, FOR ANY REASON, when you can skip one, on the way, to the chance for the final victory of the year. If PSU wins, and Ohio State gets IN, then Ohio State has 2 games to win to be National Champions. If Mich St. wins, and Ohio State gets into the Big 10 title game then Ohio State has to beat Wisconsin to get IN, and then to repeat: then Ohio State has 2 games to win to be National Champions.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

If OSU does not get into the playoff then I think there's something wrong with the system. I don't care if Penn State beat us earlier in the year, they're ranked #7, we're currently #2 and have actually played some competition, which besides us, I don't believe Penn State has. Don't recall any night games for them against top 10 opponents.
That's fine if they "win" the big ten championship if they do. I do not believe they deserve a playoff spot over Ohio State.

Fun story.
I missed most of the game because I had to go to the emergency room. I have Bell's palsy and can't see out of my left eye.

I am not at all a Michigan fan.
But I was impressed by the Wolverine's on-the-field behavior.
I don’t recall seeing any prescripted (made-up and practiced beforehand) dances or routines or taunts after good Wolverine plays.
I wish I could say the same for some of the hotdogs that are starters on the Browns defense.
One’s that do a dance after an opponent incompletion on 1st down. (and then get burned for 30 yards on the next play)

Besides Harbaugh's tantrum and Pepper's altercation with a fan, you mean?
I do think the game was pretty well played overall-stylistically more than execution, though.

Yeah, Harbaugh's tantrums were a little strange.
My initial thought was that they were to "warn the refs".
But, there were times when he threw a tantrum that was not purely for show.
And Peppers should have just blown off (ignored) the fans. If the fans were too much they should have been "talked to" by stadium security. Maybe they were.

I don't normally reply to "my" posts, but this a extra thought to counter my earlier thought.
The committee has said winning your conference is pretty important. Penn St won today. If they win the Championship game, it might be hard to keep them out and let OSU in, and I don't see many realistic ways both OSU and PSU get in to the final 4 teams.
I think the best way to get in to the final 4 and not win your conference is if you lose the conference championship.
I mean, I am a Gator fan, but if the Gators somehow win against Bama next week, Bama should still get in. The Gators get to go to the Sugar Bowl. Not a bad landing spot.
