Russ with another trip doub

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

westbrook is easily the best player in the league so far this season, he's proving that Durant was his sidekick, not the other way around. Good win by the cavs last night, wasn't perfect but you could tell they were much more focused. So far the worst case scenario for the cavs regarding JR has happened...he held out, came into the season out of shape, couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat, and now injury...its like damn. You could tell it disrupted the offense because Liggins isn't very good, especially at the 2, there'd be passes swung to him on a drive and kick and he wouldn't shoot, which screwed up the rhythm and left a short shot clock, where JR would have launched, make or miss wouldn't matter, it was what the play was designed, Liggins is the TT of the guards, hustle guy, plays decent defense but don't ask him to score much. I still think that needs to be shump at the 2.. watching him play PG is almost painful, especially off screens or PnR where the ball needs to move, he either doesn't make the pass and keeps dribbling, or its late and the movement guy had no chance to make a play. I love playing Toronto because the Kyrie/Lowry matchup is so fun to watch. Its been even better this year because they are close friends now after playing on olympic team. Should be good playoff matchup again. We are still struggling with bench, just no production other than frye/shump offensively, we're in the bottom 1/3 of the league, dunleavy and birdman, as well as JJ are just waste of spots.. I like liggins as he can be that defensive guy to come in and slow a hot shooter down, felder should be in Dleague. I know we have some exceptions and its hard to say what all options we have, hopefully griffin pulls off some magic, lebron's utilization needs to come down.

So far the east looks like the east, but the West is looking like whoever makes it out of the West are going to have a tough go of it, alot of good teams

Liggins was a pretty good spot-up 3-point shooter in the D-league. Maybe he's lost his confidence a bit in the big leagues, but at least you can get some defense out of him. He's probably our 9th best guy after Shump, Frye and RJ.

After that, it's a bit of a chasm. Like you said, Birdman, Dunleavy and James Jones all look past it. McRae has the game style of Kobe Bryant, but without the athleticism, and Kay Felder might be something in a few years, but he probably should spend a season or two in the D-League. He hasn't panned out like they had hoped. I'm hoping they can maybe package him and McRae for a decent backup point.

The other thing to consider is that we might just be biding our time for Mario Chalmers to heal up. I believe he's still an UFA.

Things can change, but right now, Felder doesn't look like he belongs. I agree that the D-league might be good for him.

I think that might be exactly it, Chalmers supposedly will be ready by February so as long as we can tread water until then.. But man we are thin, we have some injury prone guys like kyrie and shump we're betting on, but I think Chalmers will be the guy, and we'll probably use the exception on a bench guy, preferably a big if i was to pick

he was a bad pick i thought when we made it, if you're going to buy a pick for a project, he should atleast have an NBA body, theres very few guys of his size that really make it, so it was already stacked against him. I get why they did it, we needed a backup pg, but he's really got to get some time on court to adjust to nba game...they are doing him an injustice not putting him in dleague and letting him play
