Is there a possibility that Hue suffers from smartest man in the room syndrome? Where he has to pick guys who are long shots in the hope that if he hits paydirt then he becomes a true QB guru? I haven't gotten that impression.

I haven't gotten that impression. Me either. I do think Watson has a high chance at being our next drafted QB. I wouldn't spend a first round on him though. I see him being selected right at the top of the 2nd. I'm gonna watch some of his games today. I have in the past, and remember seeing a lot of quick throws, wr screens, read option. The one throw I need to see from Watson is a deep out. If he has the arm and accuracy to make that throw, I think he can make any other throw.

If we are going to draft a QB high, he better be ready to start.
I don't care about who else we have that could start while he "gets ready"
Start a QB, and live with his mistakes, and let him KNOW that he is THE GUY going forward..
No bridge QBs. All they do is get hurt or suck and then you end up starting the young guy before he's "ready"
And dear god please no "competitions" in TC. They are either not a real thing, or proof that all your QBs suck..
Screw that. Start him. Construct a playbook he can use, and grow it with him.
He either becomes Derek Carr, or Blake Bortles. I don't care..
I just need someone taking the snaps that I know is going to be doing it for the next 5 years..
Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?
