Because I think he stinks.

Dude played 25 min. last night. He was 1 for 5 from the floor. He was 0 for 3 from 3. He had 0 assists, 2 boards, 2 pts, and 1 TO. The team was a minus 13 when he was on the floor, which was second worst to only Kyrie, who was minus 16. Meanwhile, Liggins was only minus 1.

Looks like lack of practice is a big part of the problem:

http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/18457...aking-toll-them

That and the injuries, the roster moves, and the lack of days off. Since December 20th, they've had only one two-day break (the days after Christmas) in their schedule and three back-to-back games. Also 7-road games and a lot of travel.

I feel better about this year's Cavs' team than I did last year's team at this time. And as we all know, that team won the title.

It's January. Worst month of the season in the NBA.

Dude give him a break, he hasn't even had a single practice yet, remember JRs first month or so?? Korver will be fine, I didn't like giving a first for him but he's not horrible

He was one of the best 3 point shooters in the NBA this year. He then was traded to us, and I don't think that he has had a single practice with the team.

I think that he's going to be a real asset for this team, especially in the playoffs.

Kyle Korver ready to let those open 3s rip for the Cavs | cleveland.com
http://www.cleveland.com/cavs/index.ssf/...art_river_index

Korver himself was an All-Star in 2015, and is the eighth-best shooter from 3-point range in NBA history entering play Tuesday, with a shooting percentage of .429.

This year, at the time of the trade, he was shooting 44% from the field, and 41% from 3 point range.

That's not "suck".

This will not format right, but here:

36 Kyle Korver, SG ATL/CLE 34 9.1 1.9 5 65 164 .396 45 91 .495 1.21 .559

I don't like his game. So what? There are quite a few guys on here who bad-mouth TT..........and he is actually an important piece to the Cavs success. Do you question them.....or are you one of them?

I was actually one who defended TT even before Lebron returned.

I questioned paying him a max type deal, but that doesn't mean that I think he's a bad player. He is always high energy, he defends pretty well, cleans the boards well, and he doesn't need plays run for him.

Okay. That's cool.

My point was pretty much that player evaluation is subjective. I am not a big fan of Korver. Had he been here 3 years ago, I would probably have a different opinion.

However, I think his game has fallen off. His shot is really inconsistent.

He has never been a great defender, distributor, or rebounder. It's always been about him shooting threes. One dimensional.

And if he inconsistent w/that aspect of his game, he is pretty much a detriment to the team. I think he will have a few monster games where he hits a bunch of threes and the fans will go ga-ga, but overall, I think he will have a ton of games like last night and be hurtful to the team.

Just my opinion.

He is definitely more one dimensional, and I agree that he is not the greatest defender in the NBA. I do think that he is an outstanding shooter, and that he will be more effective once the team and he get to know one another. He is an incredible spot up shooter, and I think that he will get a lot of those opportunities here.

I think this is a fair assessment, but even with that wouldn't you agree that he's an upgrade over Dunleavy?

Maybe.

I liked Dunleavy's game before he got hurt. But, he really struggled last year when he came back and hasn't done anything this year, so he might be damaged goods.

I have no knowledge of the cap, but things are getting interesting in Philly. They were said to be shopping Noel, but recently, his minutes have increased and Okafor has been getting DNP's--coaches decision. He complained about it the other day.

Is there any way the Cavs could sign either Chalmers or Jack, cut/trade Korver, and swing a trade for Okafor?
