Rioting and destruction is wrong no matter who the perpetrator is.

Nothing will ever come close to Obamas crowd and it's not fair to compare future crowds to it. We can say what we want about the person, but a black man becoming president for the first time can't be topped until a woman becomes president.

The greater stupidity of the protesters was that they did not affect anything close to the Inauguration!! They rioted literally on a few streets, for a few blocks. By Monday, other than the broken windows, you would not know they were there.
But they are not THUGS or ANIMALS!!.. No, those descriptions are for certain people!!....
BTW .. the crowds were so small, i have had more trouble going to football games here!!

Arch, Just because you say something is "wrong" does not make it a fact. Usually it means someone with little facts or intelligence cannot disprove what was stated.
So.. I know you have a something to prove that the protesters were called those things anywhere in the media...
Also, as a resident of DC, I do not want to see any property damaged. And the point I was making was that their so-called protest was a huge waste of time/effort because it will not cause ANY desired change!! While they were rioting/protesting, the Inauguration and parade went along like nothing was happening!!..
And I'm sure those rioters will be called Thugs or Animals...NOT!!!.. Just like when certain college campuses have riots and they are described as " just letting off stream"...LMAO!!

I am astonished at the differences between those who protest Republicans, and those who protest Democrats. I am curious as to how many Republicans skipped either of Obama's inaugurations? I am curious as to how many protests took place during either of Obama's inaugurations, and/or turned violent and/or destructive?
There are so many who talk about Republicans being cruel and so many different "ists" .....but most of the most vulgar, vile, and destructive stuff I have seen has been in response to Republicans, not Democrats.

I posted an article on Republicans trying to pay some democrats to riot. I bet some of that happened + George Soros paid some people as well. When you combine that with people who just want to naturally riot, you get this mess.

There are couple points that I haven't seen mentioned in these riot threads. I'm going to throw them out there because it seems to me like these riots do a great disservice to the left's cause, and that liberals should take a greater stand against them.
- As far as I can tell, they happen mostly in heavily-liberal cities. These rioters literally go around and destroy the very cities that like-minded people live in.
- Few things move people to the 'right' like groups of people acting like savages. There's a certain irony in groups that claim to be anti-fascist, then act like fascists and force reasonable people to move to more authoritarian positions.
It's funny to see an election with extremely low turn out can be "won" by Republicans. Unless your goal is to alienate potential voters, which it could be, knowing Republican policies, then no one won, because no one supports the policies or the President in actuality.
