You do realize yahoo is mainly a third party website, right?
They run articles that were written from news organizations like Reuters, BBC, AP, etc. some of their articles are written by yahoo staff.
It's no different than logging on to MSN.com and reading the stories.
Yes, but they still get to pick the articles they want and then they embellish the title to make it look much more exciting (or slanted) than it really is.
I used to have Yahoo as my homepage but I got rid of it. I got tired of clicking on stories that were "Shocking" that were really pretty stupid.
I really should get rid of Yahoo as my homepage. If only I could combine my email, news and fantasy team info on some other page. Yahoo has been complete garbage for years. The articles they choose to run are bad enough, topped off by their terrible click-bait headlines. Then if you're unlucky enough to click an article written by an actual Yahoo writer, look out. I'm shocked Adrian Wojnarowski actually works for them. It's like Lebron playing ball at the YMCA.
“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”
When you think about it, they have about as much knowledge as you or I. they carry no particular experience that makes them any smarter than average ordinary citizens. Being a Star doesn't make them better to judge political things.
That's why!

If anything, their job requirement is to look good and parrot lines. You don't even need a high-school diploma to meet those standards. Also living like a rock-star tends to detach many of them from reality. Granted, there are some very intelligent celebs and some have come from very grounded circumstances before making it big. But I still wouldn't give most of their opinions any credence over anyone else.

Looking good and parroting lines doesn't make them any more qualified than you and me.
Yes, some very smart movie stars out there. Probably more are smart than any of us thing.
Example: Dolph Lundgren (born Hans Lundgren; 3 November 1957)[2] is a Swedish actor, director, martial artist, screenwriter and producer.
Lundgren received a degree in chemistry from Washington State University, a degree in chemical engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology in the early 1980s, and a master's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Sydney in 1982. He holds the rank of 3rd dan black belt in Kyokushin karate and was European champion in 1980-81.
Dude is smart and a bit of a bada** to be sure.
But how would that qualify him to be a spokesperson for one political belief or another?

Just because a guy is smart enough to make LSD doesn't mean we should listen to him. lol
Well, it sure worked for Timothy Leary (although he didn't technically make it he still had enough folks who listened dearly to everything he said about it, and other chemical forms of spirituality, as if he was some sort of holy messiah)!

No doubt. No doubt. No doubt. But no one here at least is claiming that they're smarter than us. Them, like you and I, have opinions that we should listen to, maybe not take head, but certainly listen to. I think that's a universal thing we should give everyone.
But you should have listened, all he Denzel said, "If you don't read the newspaper you're uninformed. If you do read the newspaper, you're misinformed." I think that we can all agree on that.

So your saying he wasn't some sort of holy messiah?
Brian Williams was there when we dropped the bomb.
“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”
Brian Williams was there when the Declaration of Independence was signed.
“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”
Brian Williams witnessed Hitler committing suicide.

Brian Williams wrote the speech for Reagan demanding they tear down the Berlin Wall.

Brian Williams was at Fidel's bed side when he passed.

If you look really closely, in da Vinci's "Last Supper", there, to the right of Jesus, is Brian Williams.
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
John 14:19 Jesus said: Because I live, you also will live.
Brian Williams asked Steve Harvey who won WW2. He reported that the Japanese did.

Sorry Tom bump an old thread, just an interesting video I watched.
Not really shocking. Anger is extremely powerful and causes people to instantly react more than any other emotion. Doesn't matter what side you're on. If something you read (that you believe) gets posted on a site, you're probably going to share it and that's how articles go viral.
Well, for those that don't know that's what they're callin' 'em now!
