Yes, but if they wanna win the championship........they are going to have to turn it up on the defensive end. That's fer sher, I also think that's one of the things Love will be bringing back.

Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?

Man, what is it with Cleveland and new Centers? Remember when the Browns signed LeChuck Bentley, only to lose him to a career ending injury on one of the 1st plays of training camp? We had Austin Reiter play a really nice game in his 1st game as a Browns player, only to be lost to injury in his 1st game. Now we lose Bogut in his 1st game. If I'm a Center, either football or basketball, I am staying out of Cleveland. lol

Must be the Indians way of telling us we built the center of Cleveland through a massive Indian burial ground. Would explain the curse.

Good catch ...... ..... but at least he wasn't a game 1 or day 1 loss.

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

That really sucks. He was that rim protector we needed, gone in less than a minute. Ouch.

He's who i wanted anyways...Bogut has always been a walking medical chart..it sucks because when healthy he would have been an upgrade over TT as a rim protector. I'm not 100% clear on the rules, I'm not sure if we can reach injury settlement to clear the spot and sign sanders, or if we have to waive someone else. We do need someone on the team to play defense..Miami exposed our lack of defense...i can't believe they beat us twice back to back..

Isn't there some kind of IR/PUP list we could put him on to free up the roster spot? There is a "Disabled Player" exception, but they have to be evaluated by a doctor, and determined that they cannot play the rest of the season/post-season. Bogut, could probably be back by the start of the Playoffs, so I don't think he applies here. We have to determine if Bogut has purpose in the playoffs, or if we just needed him to eat regular season minutes. If it's the former, then we just need to wait it out. If it was the latter, then we should probably just cut him, eat the contract and sign Larry Sanders. (although, that could get expensive for Dan Gilbert.)

Theres also no way he's back for playoffs, tibia is the main bone in lower leg. 4-6 month recovery..unless it's only a stress fracture, then 6-8 weeks. Playoffs start Apr 23

It had to be used by Jan 15th. And I looked up the wrong leg bone for recovery time too. (Really batting 1.000 today!). So, it sounds like our only options would be to cut Bogut or Felder (I'm not sure which is cheaper. Bogut is on a pro-rated contract), eat the luxary tax hit, and then sign Sanders.

I liked the signing, but we might be better off just cutting Bogut. I am afraid he is done physically. He's battled injuries this entire year and has missed a ton of games. That hit last night........man! I hate making such generalizing, all-encompassing statements, but I think he might be done.

Getting good reps in Dleague and playing well. best thing for him and next year might be ready to take the backup pg spot

bogut will clearly never play for CLE again. Stinks, but it's pro sports

He recorded his 30,000th point tonight in style. He lit it up right away. It was at home and his teammates and Cuban [the owner] mobbed him. The fans were so into it.
Dude did it all w/one franchise. It was pretty special. Proof of why I love sports.

Man, warriors don't look good at all without KD. This is what happens when you gut your core bench for one guy.

JR cleared to come back..while Korver is injured..lol I just don't see it happening this year..too many injuries at the wrong time, and they aren't little injuries. They are big ones. Hopefully we draw an easy matchup in the 1st round so they can get their legs...I'm curious what Griff is going to do about backup big...if TT goes down (which would be our luck despite his track record) and Frye has to play the 5 we're screwed. I'd like to see Sanders or at worst bring Moreland up from Dleague

Honestly, if we were gonna get injured (aside from Bogut) they happened at the 'right' time. We will have our next two most important players back by the time we need them.

this team is just garbage right now...I blame Lue, all season he hasn't put any emphasis on defending, now we are just getting stomped by bad teams. We still need a center that can play defense. TT gets destroyed against legit 5's.. We still can't defend the PnR to save our lives. I get Lue is playing with rotations, but Kyrie out there with the second unit SUCKS, he can't sustain a lead to save his life.. Let Williams run the second unit, that's his thing.. I know its regular season and blah blah, but you have to start playing defense and figuring out your rotations before the playoffs that start in a month. Man we need Love to get back. Hopefully that will fix alot. Losing 4 out of 5 this late in the season isn't championship basketball

I hope it's just a case of the Cavs sleepwalking through the regular season.
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

Following More Obviously, #Cavs will need to release Andrew Bogut before adding Sanders. But if everything falls into place, could happen as soon as Monday

It most certainly is.
More so than football and baseball, basketball is about "peaking" at the right time. (Because there's so fewer players)

I am really not sure, but I think that they want him to give Thompson a bit of a break so he doesn't wear down by the time the playoffs roll around.

This is a good move, I wanted sanders over Bogut to begin with. Yes he's playoff eligible because he was a free agent before the deadline
