I bet you have watched a lot of his games. As a matter of fact I have i watch a lot of college football mostly BIG TEN but I see Pitt a few times a year because they usually play 2-3 BIG TEN teams along with a few other games, you better be careful betting on things you don't know

So, after watching him...........you don't think he is worth a 4th round pick? Seriously?

Here is what I said, you should take your own advise when you tell us to read the post before commenting ...
QUOTE: Peterman is just another QB being pushed up the draft board because of the NFL's lack of QB talent ...

But since we're being mean to Mitch Trubsiky, we should also ask why Peterman couldn't beat out Joshua Dobbs at UT. Peterman got the start in his 3rd game at UT as a freshman against Florida who had one of the top defenses in the country.. he threw 11 passes, completing only 4 with 2 INTs.. he was declared a bust as a recruit and never started again... he should feel right at home here.

And I will apologize if you were not addressing me and was just making a general comment. If that is the case........I'm sorry.
I was just trying to be clear that I was not "pushing him up the board."

I like Peterman. I like his pocket poise, I like his experience under center. I like his mobility. I think he's more accurate than not. I'm concerned about him throwing the 20 yrd. out. I haven't seen him drive the ball very effectively. I do like his skills with moving safeties with his eyes and he shows ability to go through his progressions. In most games I've seen his decision making has been good.
I also like that he can be had somewhere in the 3-4 round range. The team can do a lot with the first 2 to 4 picks and still get this guy. You might have to take him in the third given that QBs get overdrafted. I would be fine with that.

I said it on another post that we can draft a guy like Peterman or another 2nd tier QB and it really isn't much of a difference from the alleged top 3 QB's in this draft. There really isn't much drop off in talent from the top 3 guys and the next 3. I would use our 1st and 2nd round picks on the BPA and then maybe grab one of the QB's. JMO

Peterman is definitely a guy who I believe can win with a good running game and defense, at least by his third year, maybe even sooner. I don't know if he's a guy who can carry a team, but you never really know. Could be a steal in the third.....

I just don't know about Dobbs, nothing really impresses me. He seems more athlete then quarterback to me. But I am kinda old school where I want my Quarterback to be a drop-back kinda guy..

My comments were also made regarding the DAK2 references as well. Dobbs is a lot more ACCURATE then being credited. He also has been proven to be highly football intelligent from feedback on his interviews. jmho
