I thought I replied to this before....but what are the Jets doing? He's a top-flight WR. Did something happen recently to warrant such a move?

I wanted Cooks badly the year he came out...we got Manziel instead lol
we wanted him too ... tried to trade up to get him in the draft. I wish it woulda happened Imagine the fiasco we would have avoided if we just took Cooks instead of Manziel...and any CB not named Gilbert that year

Mike Glennon getting interest (as a starter) is surprising IMO. He is a taller Colt McCoy I'd say

Many of my Jets fan friends are lookinig for a new team to root for...lol
These guys all will be fired after this season. Well the GM at least.
Now those who are thinking Pryor to Patriots...they would be more likely going for Marshall.

Not looking good for the Jets... three hitters for them, gone. Revis, Mangold and now Marshall.

Marshall is starting to get up there, and (IIRC) he trailed off as the season went on. He started pretty strong, but ended the year with poor averages. They also have a young guy (forget his name) that looked good for parts of the year.
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

They also have a young guy (forget his name) that looked good for parts of the year. He was on my fantasy team so i paid close attention ... he was awful this year. It may have something to do with his QB, but he was not good.

At some point you have to look at a rebuild. We did that last year. Now we will find out if we rebuild in the proper manner.
The Jets embark on the same journey. Their FO can survive if Rex had a lot of sway in the selection of players. The owner would know how much sway he allowed his coach.
If everybody had like minds, we would never learn. GM Strong

Oh no. Multiple #NFL sources are pegging the free agent contract of #Bucs QB Mike Glennon as expected to land between $14-$15 million per season. https://twitter.com/CharlesRobinson/status/838588037915426817I'll believe it when I see it. If it does happen my guess is that it is a contract that the signing team can't get out of after every season.

It's because the Bears and Jets are BOTH that in need of a QB. I bet he and his agent are dancing a jig that he could be getting that kind of money.

That's why the price is high. What kind of options do these teams have? The Jets have Christian Hackenberg and Bryce Petty. Neither they're particularly excited about. Every Bears QB is a FA this year, lol. Hoyer, Barkley, and Cutler. I think that'll be the price for a lot of these types of QBs. It's one of the reasons I don't think Tyrod Taylor is going anywhere. Because the coaching staff is gonna say, "For christ sakes, if we let him go, who are you going to replace him with?" At least we got Cody Kessler, lol. Could be worse

They of course are basing that on what Fitzgerald got...of course that was proven to be a DUMB OFFER...so It might or might not but it still will be a DUMB Offer.

Former # Ravens WR Kamar Aiken has roughly 6 teams interested in him. # Bills, # Browns and # Seahawks looking like strongest candidates for now
Kamar Aiken?

This doesn't make any sense: The Buccaneers offered Mike Glennon a contract that would make him the highest-paid backup quarterback in the NFL, a source confirms to ESPN's Adam Caplan.
Glennon, 27, however, wants to be a starting QB and plans to test free agency, according to Caplan.
Bleacher Report first reported the contract offer.
The Bucs' offer to Glennon would eclipse the deal that the Eagles gave QB Chase Daniel ($7 million per season). http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/18835...kup-quarterback

but can players "agree" tomorrow? just not announce? You can bet ESPN and the NFL Network will be using language like so ans so have agreed in principle on a contract ...

but can players "agree" tomorrow? just not announce? Yeah. But that doesn't stop us from blowing up their voice mail like a clingy ex-GF. I think Mark Cuban kinda set the benchmark for how owners should act when they lose free agents. So if Haslam isn't doing 100 on 90W, while trying to get TP to take his call, by Thursday, I'm going to be greatly saddened as the Browns clearly don't want TP as much as I do. He's the keeper.

I can't believe they haven't inked him to a long term deal yet. TP is the best WR we've had since the return.
