Thank you for making my point. (bows graciously)

And I didn't post the summary....someone else did. Please acknowledge what other people post.

You said he let him go. He did not "let him go." He received compensation by trading him.

Keep spinning and hurling out your usual BS, but you put out incorrect information after twice accusing me of doing so earlier this morning, when I did no such thing.

I said that very thing.... They got value for trading him. But they let him go because they weren't planning on keeping him.

Just because teams let people go doesn't mean they don't like them. They just might have more difficult decision to make because, as Super Bowl winners, they have better players.

More misinformation.

BB didn't let Collins leave. He traded him.

Vers .. as usual no clue why u bother with this dude .. what a waste of time .. just makes crap up ...

Thats YOUR POST ...

U SAID "he traded him because he wasn't going to sign him" ... BULLCRAP .... he traded him because he was a POS and wanted him off his team ...

U see menZa ... he would have gotten the same value (actually a pick better since we re-signed the POS) if he let him play out the year and had him for the super bowl run ..how big of a POSdo u have to be to have they much talent and have someone basically cut u ...

If u haven't figured out why he didn't cut him and GAVE HIM TO US ... its because if he cut him he couldn't control where he went .. he figured we were the BEST LANDING SPOT for him ...

The rest of your post is BS also..

But just like with ED ... I'm not going to waste any more of my time on U .. I'll leave that to Vers . He seems to enjoy banging his head against the wall .. *L*

Maybe u oughta keep up ...

He traded him from a SUPER BOWL CONTENDER because he was a POS and he didn't want him on his football team ...

If he lost him in FA ... i think he would have gotten the same pick if he let him walk via FA ... its right there in the trade summary u posted ... they would have gotten the same compensatory 3rd rnd pick we got if he let him play out the season and leave via FA ..

Keep up and PAY ATTENTION to what u post ... *L* ...

By "trading" him, the Pats controlled where he ended up...not the to Bills, nor the Jets, etc. Same compensation...I don't know whether a 3rd or a 4th (and don't intend to look it up).

I'll SLOW IT DOWN FOR U ... because if i don't .. you'll make more crap up ...

If Collins was let go via FA the Pats would have gotten a 3rd round comp pick ..

When we re-signed Colin's the pick became our 4th round pick ...

SO BILL TOOK LESS TO LET HIM LEAVE ,...

Bye Bye Memphis .. feel free to embellish away ...

ED - thats how u handle things ... now go get your big boy pants on ... *LOL* ..

Sounds like TP to Philly then, connecting the dots. Seems like a lot for Britt. Hopefully Williams had some input/insight.

Not necessarily a fan of this signing, but not sure this spells the end for Pryor. Maybe they don't like Coleman?

I hope not. I think it means that they know we don't have a Vet at WR. Just because Pryor is 28 doesn't mean he's a vet at WR. He's just learning also. We need experience right now.

Yeah, probably means Pryor is gone.

Britt had a similar year to Pryor last year.

68 catches for 1,002 yards and 5 TDs.

He is also 28 years old.

The Revenge of the Nerds not liking their #1 pick? They liked all their picks so much all 14 made the team! I'd say Pryor is gone.

Really??? Kenny Britt???

Not sure I understand this....

Even though he's played 8 years already he is only 28, same as Pryor. About the same production as Pryor last year though. Maybe he was cheaper??? Still not sure about this...I'll wait to see how it plays out...

I assume we'll play a lot of 3 WR sets.

Britt, Pryor, Coleman is a nice group. IMO.

uh oh. it would be nice to pair up Britt with pryor...but man bro....if Pryor leaves....i dunno what to say.

i said this before, there's a difference between saving money and just being a cheap ass. I'm not sure which way the FO leans, but it points to being cheap asses.

With Britt, they could still(not sure they will, doesn't really look good) sign Pryor, Line Pryor and Britt up outside and move Coleman to the slot.

My guess is the Britt contract is a two year rental with escapability. He's an old 28 but still a decent wr. I don't think this means Pryor is out just that we won't be budging from our offer

Perhaps predicated on the Gilmore deal being final.

If the Pats have Gilmore locked up, that trade would make sense for both teams.

Basically yeah. Upfront $ from the rollover and very low guaranteed for the 3rd and 4th year so he could be cut if need be. Not sure if the devil horns mean you were trying to troll me?

Troll you? No. It's acknowledging a earlier conversation about player contracts, which I'm a fan of. You're too much of an asset on this board to troll. Don't confuse yourself w/ vers and........Diam....*L*.......Dawg.....*L*

Thank you I appreciate that Memphis. I just wasn't sure. That kind of thing doesn't really bother me I just didn't understand the reference. I get a lot of good info from Vers. Diam really grinds me when he jumps on my detailed hour long posts with generalizations backed in nothing but "just trust me I saw it and I've watched every single piece of evidence so I know better than you". Otherwise this board is pleasant for me. I just ignore most of the bickering.
