Titans agreed to terms with S Johnathan Cyprien, formerly of the Jaguars. A starter since being drafted 33rd overall in 2013, Cyprien somewhat struggled through the first three years of his career before a light came on in 2016. He was a tackling machine, and swatted away passes on the back end. Not yet 27 years old, Cyprien could see snaps at linebacker in DC Dick LeBeau's oft-used dime package with FS Kevin Byard and SS Da'Norris Searcy manning the safeties.

The #Lions are releasing long-time star LB DeAndre Levy, source said.
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Jordan Poyer signs with Bills, Browns lose most experienced safety
By Scott Patsko, cleveland.com Follow on Twitter on March 09, 2017 at 4:51 PM, updated March 09, 2017 at 5:03 PM CLEVELAND Ohio - Jordan Poyer missed the Browns' final 10 games last season, and now he's gone for good after signing with the Bills Thursday in free agency.
The free safety started the first six games of the season before suffering a lacerated kidney against the Titans. He began the season paired with Ibraheim Campbell in the defensive backfield. They had five starts between them entering 2016.
Poyer, a fourth-year veteran, had the most NFL experience of any Browns safety last season. Campbell was in his second year, and the team also used rookies Trey Caldwell and Tracy Howard and second-year player Ed Reynolds before switching veteran Tramon Williams into safety duty later in the season. A foot injury ended rookie safety Derrick Kindred's season in December. Williams was released in February.
Poyer was Pro Football Focus' 69th-rated safety last season. Reynolds' was the best-rated Browns safety (45th).
Not until I read that Sashi found enough money to get Pryor to sign on the dotted line...and a link.
So when we sign him to top WR money he's going to play like one of the best WR's in the league right? You seem awfully certain he's a top five WR after one season at the position. 14+ million a year is a lot so if they throw a top WR contract at him then he better play like it.

yeah I liked Reynolds didn't realize he was just 2nd season...he wasn't very talented but he was pretty smart. Reminded me of our FS Russell a few years back. Was that his name?
I think we closed the door on Pryor we couldn't just wait with our thumbs up our butt...so we went and signed Britt. Upside higher for Pryor in the future but Britt more polished.
We should prepare the M.A.S.H. tent for mac and prepare for his night of anguish. lol
Defense wins championships. Watson play your butt off! Go Browns! CHRIST HAS RISEN! GM Strong! & Stay safe everyone!

These cheap Havard boys are out there shopping for other safeties without paying one of our own! The season is screwed now!
You guys act like the money is coming out of your own pockets!
We didn't sign Poyer so now you guys are going to be hearing from me all season! (Well you were going to hear me all season anyway, but now I can point to this as the reason.)
We need a football guy in the worst way!
A guy like Art Donovan!
Sure he's like 107 now if he is still alive, but think of all that football experience that he has!
You can't run a franchise with a bunch of smart guys!
You need a few guys that have had a couple of dozen concussions to run a football franchise!
You never know there are a few good safeties in this upcoming draft ...
