So, it's something you can come back from, but I'm not sure how it'll affect his quick twitch.

Jesus...Yeah Suggs was/as a beast...Ditto for Steve Smith as mentioned, so there are more success stories than I originally thought.

If he's there at 52 you'd have to really consider it....if he falls to our 3rd round pick, run up and turn the card in...

I think that's where moving back from 12, and possibly picking up an extra 2 or 3 comes into play.

Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?

Late round pick at best if this is true.

I would let someone else pick him up and take a chance on him. Once the Achilies is torn or ruptured, it's game over... especially for a CB.

My friend played in the NFL for several years and when he ruptured his Achilles, it ruined his first step and career. After he recovered, he played for 3 more years but... he said he was never the same after that and was probably 25% less effective.

I can live with a DL or LB being a bit slower with their first step, not a DB. DB is way too reactive and requires a ton of fast twitch explosion.

A lot depends where the Tear/Rupture is.

The higher it is on the leg the better. Also there is a pretty high pct. of athletes tearing the other Achilles Tendon after recovery...I guess cause of all the stress put on it during Rehab???
