As was the case last night, their bigs and our bigs locked up on the boards thus creating space for their smaller guys to go rebound, which they did.. on our end not so much.

Our rebounding was atrocious against the Rockets. I'm not sure how much it relates to trying to go into the playoffs healthy, though. Delicate balance between protecting health and developing bad habits.

If you are going to play 95% of the game at full speed, why not give the other 5% and try to win?

The Cavs lead in the east is down to what, 2 games? If they actually played to win some of these games, maybe the stars could get a few more nights off... instead we are losing WITHOUT resting anybody.. it's a bad combination.

David Aldridge on Twitter is saying that Larry Sanders might spend most the regular season in the D-League. So they won't even use him to help eat up regular season minutes. Is he really going to be that important in the playoffs? Or do they just have no faith that he is at an NBA playing-level yet?

He hasn't played in the NBA since 2015. He has to get into playing shape and he can't/shouldn't do that with the big club.

No, we need Love. He is the X-factor, remember we are missing a player who was averaging 20- 10. (I think that's what he was averaging before the all-star break) We need that.

Yeppers, we definitely need him back and it shows.

we were ON FIRE to start the game

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

He was the one guy I missed on coming out of college. I saw him play three times at San Diego State, and each time he wasn't even the best guy on the floor. (Jimmer Fredette out-played him several times). He didn't really look like an impact player, and outside of a few rebounds, he didn't really stuff that stat sheet. Guess I was wrong about that one!

Then again, who knows how his career would of turned out if he didn't go to a great program like the Spurs. I'm sure guys like Tim Duncan took him under his wing immediately and showed him how to be a true pro.

I hear you. Then again, some guys mature later.

I only commented earlier, because I'm listening to music while watching the Spurs game w/the sound off and he had two of the most incredible dunks back-to-back that I've seen in awhile.

Dude has hands longer than some people's arms. LOL

Really glad he's back. His rebounding has been sorely missed.

The minutes are starting to catch up..hopefully Lue plays it smart and keeps Kyrie out for a few games...Dwill is more than capable. Shump's shoulder injury is concerning as he seems to always have issues with it.. Luckily we have JR and Korver will be back so he was going to lose minutes anyways. But man time to start dialing back the minutes

I agree. Especially the Shump comment.

JR is already looking like he's getting back into it these games since his return. Love had a strong return too IMO. Rebounding, getting inside buckets and shooting it.

But yeah, I think Irving should sit out about two games. Williams has been a good signing and he too IMO is beginning to adjust to our team.

Here is the dunk... I know shump is like 6'5 but still dunking like that on a legit 7'1 giant is pretty awesome.

Would've been top five plays of the year IMO had he slammed it home. At first I thought it went in, I was screaming when that play happened. Followed by big time disappointment.

GO CAVS! Be nice to wrap up a win tonight. Sucks Fox Sports isn't hosting this game, I love that announcing crew with Austin Carr and Fred Mcleod.

We're resting the big 3, still up after the 1st quarter.

i think it was stupid again to rest all 3..you play them tonight and rest against the lakers..NBA has to stop this..too much marketing and money on the line to allow teams to do this. As a cleveland fan you say ok i get it, but as a basketball fan, this isn't good for the game
