Good post.................but, there is also this. Punching a woman as hard as you can does not make you "tough." In fact, I counter that it proves he is anything but "tough," and is in fact, a weak-minded person.

You will get absolutely no argument about that from me.

Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

John 14:19 Jesus said: Because I live, you also will live.

1-15 is not great.

It's supposed to be hard! If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard... is what makes it great!

I don't disagree. I am sayiong he is a good football player.

The object in football is to attain good football players to build a good football team.

I'd see to it he donated a nice sum to a local batter womans shelter.

I guess it is simply a matter of can one change and can one forgive? I believe so, and I can.

If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.

I've seen this kid on local TV - he is pretty unique and is a definite sports nerd. He does know what he's talking about and I can see him going to Harvard and then being hired by us...lol laugh

He's not your normal HS kid talking about sports.

Like anything...see if it makes sense. I hope the kid is proven correct. But I can see Sashi being his hero!

wink

Vers, you make good points. I thought through this myself. This is a question you can answer or not. It is a question you ask yourself. When do you forgive?

Obviously the kid made a mistake, but the kid has to move forward. You cannot put the kid on an island and walk away. You cannot chastise a person for their entire life.

How much different is Joe Mixon to Tyreek Hill?

Would I draft Joe Mixon? I would have to do some serious research. If Cleveland did draft, I would think the organization study the situation. They will get a ton of flack most likely more than others. Cleveland is everyone's favorite whipping post.

To paraphrase Mad Dog Mattis, hitting a woman like that, 'He's already lost his manhood.'
