We've been hearing about this for months, and yet, nothing has come of it. There's an "open investigation"... great, let us know when you have something substantive.
My prediction: there's probably some low hanging fruit, e.g. people who talked to others when they technically weren't supposed to, or perhaps some testimony that was given in good faith but didn't 100% match up with reality. Perhaps there will even be some more info about the marketing server that communicated with a server in a Russian bank, which apparently turned out to be spam emails.

The investigation started way back in July.
Comey was asked on if the ties ran deeper than the Manafort thing. His reply "I can't really comment on that at this time."
Details from the Steele dossier ended up getting mentioned, and the FBI continues to find links with more details to investigate.
Comey also shot down any sort of wiretapping crap, too. There was a FISA warrant placed on someone, most likely a foreign agent, but not by any president. Nor did the FISA specifically target 46.

That should be more than enough. That should be more than enough for what? Personally I would like to hear the results of the investigation. Hopefully this will not take another eight months. I'm sure the FBI is doing a fine job and if it indeed takes another eight months, so be it. I don't see the fact that there is an ongoing investigation as being necessarily damning. It's that darn innocent until proven guilty concept.

SO the feds say there is nothing to Trump's accusation that Obama had his "wires tapped" and Comey confirms Trump and company are under active investigation regarding their possible ties with Russia and any criminal activities that might have occurred as a result of the possible collusion with Russia.

I'm not so sure Diam. When you lie about a former president committing a felony, that's a pretty big deal. The thing is, the more things like this that happen, the more his credibility takes a hit.
When and if something terrible happens, how many people are going to trust or believe him? I believe we should be able to expect more than that from our president.
