Right on schedule, Lebron goes to the whip hand. LeBron James sounds off: 'You can't preach toughness ... You've got to have it' “It ain’t about a group. It’s about individuals,” James said after Cleveland allowed Denver to put up 73 points in the first half, score a whopping 70 points in the paint in the game and shoot 53.1 percent from the field and 42.3 percent from 3. “We’ve got to be more, just do more. It ain’t about no group. You can’t preach toughness. You’ve got to have it.” “Personally? I had opportunities where I could have been better,” James said before firing back with a rebuttal. “Um, one thing about it: I always bring toughness to the game. I know that. That’s for sure.”
“...Iguodala to Curry, back to Iguodala, up for the layup! Oh! Blocked by James! LeBron James with the rejection!”

Teams have figured out we can't defend the pnr or the paint. Frye is garbage. JR and Irving need to be a lot better at the perimeter. They are our biggest weakness at this point. I really hope sanders can come back and produce a little, probably can more than frye can at the 5, I'd be fine with TT and sanders . Frye needs to play the 4 behind love. I'd like to see derrick get his minutes back until JR looks like he did last year. He does t trust his shot and his defense is suffering. But to Lebrons point , individual defense is all about want to. This is created by Lue, they fall in love with offense and don't want exert on defense.

Looks like my Celtics are challenging for the home court advantage :
Cleveland 46-24
Boston 46-26 GB 1

I feel like these are the same recycled comments from the past two years about the Cavs defense, lack of toughness, lack of drive, etc. Yet, they made it to the Finals each year.
See you guys June 1st!

I'm wondering if maybe we should just go for the 2nd seed. We've shown that teams with Bigs give us fits because of our lack of size. The 8th seed is likely to go to Miami or Detroit. Maybe we're better off avoiding them in the first round?

If by "better off" you mean maybe playing a 5-6 game series in the first round vs a 4-5 game series.
Sure?

See you guys June 1st! All true and, barring injury, should be there again.. on the other hand, we are one Draymond Green suspension away from probably being 0-2 in those finals. The Cavs shouldn't be thinking about GETTING to the finals, they should be preparing to WIN the finals.... maybe they can flip a switch and turn it on and play to their potential, who knows. I do know one thing, once you have the ring on your finger, many teams have failed to ever find that next gear... we shall see.

See you guys June 1st! You are absolutely correct. If I had time, I'll bet I could find carbon copies of leads' posts the last 2 years.

I ragged on the Cavs last year for poor defense and the in-fighting. They won the NBA Championship. They shut me up.
I am not going to criticize them until they get ousted in the playoffs.
To me..........they won the title and now I'm just enjoying the ride.

people that say they aren't worried about the defense need to look closer at the stats, we are bottom of the NBA in quite a few categories, last year we weren't, we also started playing our best ball after the ASB last year, this year we haven't, we were 11-5 last year in march, so far we are 5-7 with probably more losses with Chicago, Spurs and Wizards to round out march this year. This team looks nothing like the team that rolled through the second half last year..Teams like Boston and Washington are playing better as the second half rolls on. Thank god for the green suspension and the bogut injury last year. But let's not pretend we dominated GS...then they added Durant..Bottom line is Lue needs to have his lineups figured out asap so everyone can settle into their roles for the stretch..between the injuries and questionable coaching, we have alot of work to get to where we can play at last years level. This doesn't feel like a finals run right now. Both boston and washington seem to be hungrier than us..If there is a switch, it needs flipped starting tonight

Good win, but tomorrow will probably be a loss....again, a road and home back-to-back. So dumb.

Horrendous is not a strong enough word for the Cavs defense.

Cavs play like they really don't want it.
40 pts in the first for the Wizards. Shooting 80%, 4 missed shots.
Unbelievably terrible.

Between Thompson and kyrie I'm not sure who is worse at making the wrong decisions on defense. We switch way to much. More I watch the more I think last year with Lue was a fluke

There's just so much wrong. It's start with Lue, he's literally running them into the ground. There will be nothing left for playoffs

Some guy named Jason Smith who is severely balding and refuses to shave his head is 4 for 4.
