If I am watching a game I usually will have a PBR or Rolling Rock

If I am eating a meal I like Amber Bach, Newcastle or Killians

What up with PBR making a strong comeback? I was in Chicago over the weekend, and it was everywhere, many times at the same cost as Miller Lite, Bud Light, etc.

I would also tend to think the lower price helps. They have $1 pounders and $1.50 drafts at a local Colmbus bar. I believe PBR is one of the better low quality beers in terms of taste.

Cheap beer is gross but you can get used to it. I drank Molson Golden when still in high school. Joined the service so I had to be less discriminating. Went with Strohs 15 pack for $4.35 a pack. Good stuff (considering the price).

When you're young any beer you can get your hands on is "good beer"... and if you're young and think you should only drink dark, imported, and microbrew stuff then you're a spoiled little punk that needs taken out back and....

Depends on the beer. Miller Lite is gross. Can't stand it. I'll drink other light beers, but usually prefer others. Michelob Lite is the best light beer. But that college crap that people drink like Natty Light and IC Light is watered down garbage.

Speaking of beer.........

Anyone try that new Miller Chill?

Sounds like they're going for the Corona market. Mexican chelada style beer with a hint of lime.

Oh my God, I tried that crap in Chicago last week. Admittedly, I don't mind Tequiza - kinda reminds me of the milk after a bowl of Apple Jacks when I was a kid. Miller Chill goes down that route, but it just has a bad aftertaste.

To me there's nothing better than ice cold Bud Light.

Budweiser works too, and Budweiser Select, but Bud Light is king in my fridge, when I can afford it.

Otherwise, I'm drinkin' the Natty Light.

My brother is a true beer maven. He now brews all of his own - light, dark, He spent several (maybe 8) years buying and trying microbrewery beers, from the east coast to the west. He also makes wine and hard lemonade. He's toyed with quitting his job and starting a brewery, but, having never worked for a "private" company (he's always been employed by a state gov't.) he's leary of losing his perks.

Regardless, he makes some good beer. We were out to see him a few years ago. He kept bringing up new beers for him, me, and my bro in law to try. After a few, (I had a few more than they did) he starts telling me I should slow down, since we were in "altitude", and I was not used to it - he was afraid I'd get a hangover.

Well, several more later, as he and my bro in law are on their hands and knees laughing uncontrollably at my talking, he brings up the wine and lemonade. What's funny is, he was worried about me, and I ended up putting him on the couch, helping my bro in law to his bedroom, then I had 1 more.

I drink Coors light, Heineken, or Beck's. (if I'm buying, that is) My brother swears all that stuff is crap. He only drinks his now.
