That Lopez fella looks like he's trying to be the next Anderson Varejaou.

this team, as it is right now is a first round exit.

I've never seen the shot clock and the game clock that close to each other.

The Cavs suck.

Really suck.

I don't see them getting out of the second round.

I watched part of the game, went to bed, got up, watched almost all the rest but the last 5 or 6 minutes I didn't get to see because my DIRECTV went temporarily out because of the rain.

I would say I can't believe they lost, but I CAN believe they lost... And to a team that isn't even playing .500 ball. Holy Toledo! frown

I've said since ASB, this team looks old and slow...and they are..too many aging veterans and not enough young guys...this is mostly Griffin's fault and his careless use of picks...When you have 3 max guys you have to use your picks to get young talent, its the only way..Trading 2 first for Mosgov, wasting the pick that became Joe Harris instead of about 6 other people that could have helped, including Jokic. A first for Korver, giving TT and JR contracts they didn't deserve, all to appease Lebron..so this is the result when injuries happen, guys that were supposed to play minutes in the teens are now playing 25-30+ and now are run down and we have no recourse to add younger talent for the foreseeable future. almost 40 mill over cap. Teams like boston, miami, indiana all with plenty of cap space. I truly think last year was it...we aren't going to do it again and I think for this team to remain competitive for the remainder of lebrons career, either Love or Irving is going to have to be moved. Irving is still my pick, his offense no longer excuses how bad and unwilling he is to play defense or play pg. He scores 25+ because he gives up 25+. I really hope this is sandbagging but I don't think it is.. The Cavs are truly in trouble.

Yikes.

It's to the point where the excuse to justify concern was "don't worry about it, it's regular season. They'll turn it on when it counts" really is justifiable.

We're a bad team right now. Mainly because we have no defense. No Wade and Chicago beat us.

I have to admit that I am really concerned about the Cavaliers. They need to get guys used to playing together, and they need to do so quickly. They have had to make so many changes to the starting lineup, and the 2nd unit, that they have had no real opportunity to get any continuity, and guys are not sure of their roles.

A team with LeBron has only lost 10 games in a month twice.. once in 2003 and March 2017... This has gone well beyond "We'll just turn it on when the playoffs start"... I think they are actually starting to doubt themselves..

I think they're kind of worn out too. Lue's minutes management, hasn't really been that great this year. Sure, he'll rest Lebron on back to backs, but the he leaves him in for 40+ minutes the next game.

Honestly, I think this year kind of shows how "valuable" guys like Delly and Moz were. Sure, they didn't play meaningful minutes in the playoffs, but during the regular season they ate up tons of minutes with "good enough" play, which allowed our main guys to rest more during games.

This year, I think the lack of those two, coupled with a LOT of injuries and Lue's reluctance to play the D-League guys has worn out some of our key guys. Physically and maybe a little mentally too.

yep. Lue looked like a rookie coach this year..we had players in dleague that could have given you some minutes, and its not like we didn't know backup pg and big wasn't a need since like november.. Hopefully they learn..regardless of how this turns out, I think next years team is going to look drastically different. Hopefully Lue's approach is too

Sorry just saw my typo and it's too late now to edit, but I meant "really isn't justifiable". I'm an idiot.

I agree, Lue's players time management seems questionable at best.

Whatever happened to Channing Frye? He use to contribute. He use to be someone when I saw let the ball rip, I automatically added two or three points to the score. Games I've watched, he seems just outta it.

JR Smith needs to be warm up on both sides again.

Love looks like he still needed some time off to heal.

TT doesn't seem to be getting rebounds, we have NO other rebounder.

... I could go on and on. LBJ says "We're just in a bad spot right now", heh, you don't say dude?

I'm not ready to rule them out yet, but it's virtually borderline in doing so. Unless huge changes and improvements occur, I have a hard time seeing it happen again this year.

The 76ers have guys from the YMCA rec team starting tonight, and yet they are putting up a good fight against the Cavs.

I'm watching on FOXOH, and our home team announcers are saying that the Cavs have 'flipped' the switch, are we sure that's a fair analysis against this team?

well they finally won one, albeit against the washington generals. Hopefully it atleast gives them confidence and carries over through this homestand and they right the ship...I will say that was atleast fun to watch the ball moving and defense...haven't seen that from then in a long time. They did what they needed to do against a bad team...build a lead and sit the stars. If they can do that a few more times this week, should be a good momentum boost going into playoff. I think I'm going to try to take my son to Orlando game.. I can get seats behind cavs bench pretty cheap. I just have to hope its not a game they rest

They have played like crap for over a month with only a few bright spots in between... tonight was a good win to get... we will see if they can build on it.

Like most folks, I will feel a little better going into the playoffs if they can pin a few real solid games back to back..

the defensive end has been a huge issue all year. i worry about playing boston and washington because of their PG. kyrie is like the worst PG defender in the league

I didn't get to see the game.

Otherwise, I likely would have been trashing them.

I will say this...if the Cavs win it all again this year, I won't ever say another thing about them in the regular season.

On a side note, thank goodness Durant is coming back. He can completely disrupt the Warriors chemistry again. Give everyone else a chance.

I bashed the Cavs last year because of their terrible defense in the regular season and their internal problems that led to the firing of Blatt.

However, the Cavs won the Championship. They shut me up.

I see some issues w/this year's team. I am not denying that their defense once again sucks. But hey, the just won the NBA Championship. I'll just enjoy the ride until they either win another one or get eliminated from contention.

I see that side of it too, and in many ways I agree with your position.

But I'm greedy. I want more than one championship. This window won't be here forever. I want these guys to get back to backs.

For anyone that listens to sports talk in the morning on 92.3 The Fan, "flip the switch" has been a commonly used phrase regarding the Cavs....particularly last year. Thats what fans hope happen come playoff time. To hear Cavs announcers used it is kinda funny in its own way.

Can't wait to watch this team on June 1st!

This was an easy team to flip that switch on.

Let's see if they can still do it come the playoffs.

The Cavs last year, when you take everything into consideration, (Finals Rematch, 73-9, Down 3-1, Cleveland in general) probably pulled off at least a Top 5 all time Sports come back.

To win a championship.

I am not going to fret because they got tired after year 3, especially when you consider no one in the past 7 years has played as many minutes as LeBron has.

As long as LeBron, Kyrie, and Love are here together, they get a lifetime "pass" from me. Would it be great if they won more titles? Sure.

But they won one. Anything else is just (something that fits this phrase but tastes better than) gravy..

I think all the hand-wringing is much ado about nothing.

For the chicken littles predicting anything less than EC Champs(again) put your money against the Cavs.

If not, quit whining

i get that premise too, but at the same time, when do you think we'll ever have a team with this kind of talent and the best player in the world on it..that window to potentially win more is closing

lebron needs to stop taking FT lessons from Deandre Jordan, he is beyond bad right now. He's palming it too much. Not getting any rotation. Our FT shooting has been the difference. I can't wait until Korver comes back. Shump needs to go away. He's such a liability on offense. Pray this doesn't go to OT
