I believe we're still deciding the Browns' pick at #12.

The Cleveland Browns select Mitch Trubisky, Qb North Carolina.
The Arizona Cardinals are on the clock. The Arizona Cardinals select Mike Williams, Wide Receiver, Clemson.
and the 14th pick Philadelphia is on the clock
Objections? If too many objections, I can switch to my 2nd choice for Ariz, who's not in this poll, but I think some on here still hoped to pick up later on. (based on thread discussions)
With the 14th pick of the draft, th Eagles select Derek Barnett - DE, Tennessee Not so fast, my friend. Looks like the lions scooped you.

If so - no problem.
If the pick ends up decided as shown then Eagles will select Barnett. If he gets taken by Detroit I'll have to have a think.

Yeah - exactly. So if the pick stays with the Browns and they take Trubicky... then Eagles will take Barnett. If Detroit trade goes through - then they take Barnett and I will need to come up with a different selection ... we're on the same page.
The more things change the more they stay the same.

Is the draft rolling now?
Is it safe to update the draft tracker up to the Lions pick?

Oops, I should have been more patient...
Also, something that worked well in the past is to have all changes to later picks listed at the bottom, so we don't need to scour through the thread

Eagles Select WR Corey Davis, Western Michigan
#1 WR for Wentz.
(not going to get into a side debate - but I think Corey Davis will be far far better than Mathews as a pro).

The Cowboys secondary has been decimated and I did not feel that Gareon Conley (who I feel is the top CB remaining) would be available @ Pick #28 ... I also gave thought to picking SS Jabril Peppers but decided on the CB ...
So with the 16th Pick in the 2017 Draft the Dallas Cowboys Select Gareon Conley CB Ohio State

Redskins front office is very concerned about their ability to retain Kirk Cousins moving forward and in the effort to protect her interests there is looking towards the future the quarterback position.
When Jay Gruden looks at DeShaun Watson he sees a better version of Andy Dalton who came from a similar style offense as Watson ran at Clemson. Jay's offense features many West Coast offensive concepts, with bootlegs and half field reads that he feels that Watson if needed could come in and execute at a high level as a rookie just like Dalton did.
With the 17th pick the Washington Redskins select QB DeShaun Watson. Clemson.

With the 18th pick the Green Bay Packers select CB Kevin King.
GB thought we traded up high enough to get Gareon Conley. We are let down we didnt get our guy but Kevin King will fit in nicely for us.

Tampa has "soft" spots throughout the roster, but the GM can't run up to the podium fast enough to select...Dalvin Cook, RB Florida State. Thought by some to be better than Fournette. A steal at this point in the 1st round...

With no one picking for the Broncos, I'll just do it. Hopefully we can find someone soon. With this, I'm choosing for three teams now, so if anyone has a problem with that and only has 1 team, only you can put an end to my reign of terror. please do.
The Denver Broncos select Ryan Ramczyk, LT, out of the University of Wisconsin. A cornerstone to the new line they're building.
The Browns are now on the clock.

With the 22nd pick in the 2017 NFL Draft the Kansas City Chiefs select….Patrick Mahomes, QB, Texas Tech
The Chiefs have a more pressing need in other areas, however, given that Nick Foles signed with the Eagles and the fan base has grown impatient with Alex Smith (and his contract expires in 2 years), this will be the perfect time for Reid to teach and mold Mahomes as the Chiefs potential future starting QB. With both the Giants and Texans ahead of KC and both potentially looking at QBs to groom, the trade up from 27 was deemed necessary.
While a bit of an over reach at 22, with the other two top rated QBs gone KC’s GM felt Mahomes at 22 would be a potentially better option than some of the other QBs later in the draft. With a team whose depth chart currently consists of Alex Smith, Joel Stave and Tyler Bray this pick should move Mahomes into serious contention as the #2 QB.
