Oh, I see...........you are not talking about Pryor. You are talking about Kessler. LOL
Have a good one. Well, I did notice the same things. Pryor had some good catches. And there were some darn nice throws in there as well, many of them from Kessler.

Let me guess...........neither one of you noticed that most of the deep throws were from RGIII and McCown? LOL

I think the long passes is a given considering HUE reprimanded him for not pulling that trigger. Yes, Vers...the Go Routes were with RG3 mostly and I think one with McCown???
But they are seeing what I saw...Kessler surprising me in that with some very good throws...I know it pains you to compliment him...lol

Well, a couple were hard to tell who the qb was. But, by my count 11 of the throws were from Kessler, and 6 were from the combination of RG and McCown.

I've already answered this when I first posted my observations to the highlight video when all I was really trying to do was dispute Rish's claim that Pryor didn't have big plays or show explosion.
I think the highlights refute his claim.......but back to me answering the throws: <<sigh>>
It's obvious that almost all of the deeper passes came from either RGIII or McCown, rather than Cody. It is also a fact that Cody played more games than either of the other two. Thus, it doesn't take a genius to determine that Cody's unwillingness or inability to push the ball down the field adversely affected Pryor's number of long plays.
I don't even understand how this is up for debate.
Wait.........I do understand. Some people wanna defend Cody and they are going to twist, turn, manipulate, and turn the conversation into something that isn't really the truth of the matter.
Knock yourselves out.

all the browns had to do is meet the one year show me deal the skins gave him... i would have... dont see how it would be any differnt than trading a 3rd for a player with no ext worked out ahead of time...

Nah, that pretty much isn't it at all.
Sorry, the vid you put up DID show pryor making some great catches, no doubt. I'm not defending Kessler, just relaying what I saw.

HE specifically said he was giving us a shot to UP our LONG TERM contract to be over double digits. Never mentioned us matching the Redskins offer. One year was never in our negotiations...and no I was not there...but there was not ONE WORD of ONE year option for us and there was a lot of leaks to media.

You were the one who brought up Kessler. Not sure I get your point. Yes, I brought up Kessler because I think him not challenging defenses down the field would certainly limit the number of long yardage receptions that Pryor would have. What's so hard to understand? And, as usual, you have completely ignored what my real point was in all of this. Rish said something about Pryor not making big plays or showing any athleticism. I responded to that by saying I watched some videos that proved that wrong and I listed some of the plays that refuted what he said. I only mentioned Kessler because it is obvious that he did not push the ball down the field like the other qbs. And since he played the most games, one can logically assume that Pryor would have more big plays w/a qb who does push it down the field. You are being unreasonable in your love affair w/Cody.

We didn't want a ONE Year Deal.. Why? We wanted to build a Team for the Long Term. He didn't want that....No big deal. People said he bet on himself, good for him. But I'll say the samething I've been saying about him. If he even comes close to earning his 8 mil. with the Skins, NO ONE IS GOING TO GIVE HIM MORE THAN 10 Mil a Yr. Why? He will be 29 next year and still trying to learn the position. Who's gonna want to pay a 30 yr old WR still learning? No big $$$

You still haven't addressed whether or not Pryor made big plays and showed athleticism.
And if you keep up w/your nonsense.........I am going to start listing individual plays to prove exactly what I said is the truth.
You have known me for a long time. While we disagree.........tell me one time I have ever purposely lied or tried to deceive other posters. I go to great lengths to not do that. I might be wrong about an opinion, but I NEVER try and deceive people.
There is NO DOUBT that RGIII and McCown pushed the ball down the field way more than Cody did.
Goodness!!!!

The interesting thing for me, and perhaps this has already been identified, is the stat comparison in 2016:
Britt- 68 receptions, 1002 yards, 5 TDs Pryor- 77 receptions, 1007 yards, 4 TDs
Honestly these are the same players in terms of 2016 stat production. Both had poor QB play, were relied on a ton in terms of targets. Not sure what to make of it, really. Clearly, the advantage is for Pryor on upside while Britt has a larger sample size.
At DT, context and meaning are a scarecrow kicking at moving goalposts.

Regarding his character...I hope we see a guy that is focused on playing. I believe the Rams did last year. Maybe (hopefully) he has matured. It's a fresh slate and Pryor is now a 'skin...lets see what Britt brings to the table.

I don't think it's a question. We will see. Am I permitted to say.......that I think Pryor is a better WR than Britt w/less baggage........or, do I have to wait until after we cut Britt?

We'll see, brother. No point in speculating what may or may not happen. That is wasted energy that can be better spent. Also, as he is now a Brown I will be rooting for him to succeed.

I don't think it's a question. We will see. Am I permitted to say.......that I think Pryor is a better WR than Britt w/less baggage........or, do I have to wait until after we cut Britt? Pryor is a pretty passionate guy. He's taking a chance on himself with a 1 yr deal, and supposedly he came back to the Browns and asked for a 1 yr deal... As intense as Pryor is, I can see him being a disaster for the Redskins. His contract is laced with 2 million in incentives. What happens when the Redskins struggle and Pryor isn't getting the ball. I'm sure we'll hear about it. Maybe this is a reason why we turned down his 1 yr offer plea? Maybe the grass will be greener and he'll thrive in Washington. However, Pryor was pretty vocal here. Predicting we'd win the next 11 in a row. Going on a rant about how the offensive line isn't good enough. At the moment, and despite the past, Britt is saying all the right things and appears to be all-in on being a team player. Of course we've seen and heard that before... Pryor is a freak talent and I'll miss him and his passion but I'm not disappointed we have Britt.

That's it in a nutshell. I'd prefer to have Pryor here - and part of that is that he's an Ohio State kid - he's been through some adversity - he's other people's cast off and it would have been great to take that freak athlete and have the Browns turn him into a beast. . . been said a few times, don't blame the FO for how they handled it. Don't blame Pryor for gambling on himself. . . . However I think he made a mistake. He's got to get paid $10-11 mill a year for 4 plus years after this year to come out ahead of where he would have been with the Browns. That's going to be a big contract for someone to write and he needs to be a top 8-10 WR to get it ... not a "top 20" WR like he was last year.
The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.

would i prefer Pryor to Britt? yes (I actually hate the Britt signing, especially because we overpaid big time IMO) ... but I do think TP will struggle without Al Saunders and Hue.
I don't even know who else WAS has at its WR spots though? He'll probably get tons of targets

They have Crowder who is a good young receiver and Doctson, who struggled w/injuries as a rookie. I think they still have Santana Moss. Their main threat is their TE, Reed.

A week from mac is going to post about "speculation" and "rumors" about this.
Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?

Perhaps it has more to do w/what you want to believe?
Look, I love GM. Him and I have been friends for 16 years. I know he gets inside information. I used to support him when others questioned that. However, he reports what he is told. An example of that is when he gave us inside information on Farmer. He was told those things, but they were not true. That isn't GM's fault, but one should probably keep an open mind.
