Next up for our super group ..... not for his talent, because he is talented ..... but to handle the new group's videos ..... video director Billy Squier. rofl

(on a side note, like him or not, it's kinda sad that this video really destroyed his career)

Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

There are so many videos from MTV's golden age of the 80s where it is just like...."what the hell, were they thinking"? This is easily one of those gems. A lot of the cheesy 80s metal bands also fall into that category.

Whatever Super Group I put together has to include Terry Kath on Guitar.

In terms of vocal ability, you can't forget Freddie Mercury.

Ginger Rogers on the Drums has to be there.

James Jamerson on Base.

Earth, Wind and Fire for brass.

Ginger Rogers? Do you mean Ginger Baker (Cream/Blind Faith)?

I mean...maybe in between her time with Fred Astaire Ginger R. was an amazing rock and roll drummer? wink

PS: Daman, on a side note I thought about Baker as my drummer too. Dude was an animal. But, he was also notoriously difficult to work with and to get along with. So much so that he now lives in South Africa away from everybody! There is a great documentary on him ("Beware of Mr. Baker") and he even gets confrontational with the filmmaker. He is a few screws loose but, a great rock and roll skin beater.

You can't go wrong with this one:

vocals: Robert Plant
Guitar: Jimmy Page
Keyboard/bass: John Paul Jones
Drums: John Bonham

wink

As to the spirit of the thread, I'd have to think about that because I'd want the players to "feel right" as a band.
