Any guesses as to what our schedule will look like? We know our opponents and the fact that our "home" game will be against Minnesota in London (week 7-8). Any other guesses?

Home - Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Green Bay, Minnesota, Jacksonville, Tennessee, NY Jets

Away - Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Detroit, Chicago, Indianapolis, Houston, San Diego

My guesses:
- We open up at home (our last two preseason games are away)
- We have one primetime game (Thursday night against Cincinnati)
- 14 1:00 start times with 1 4:05 start time in San Diego

Week 1 - Sunday, September 10 vs Tennessee (1:00 CBS)
Week 2 - Sunday, September 17 at Cincinnati (1:00 CBS)
Week 3 - Sunday, September 24 at Houston (1:00 CBS)
Week 4 - Sunday, October 1 Pittsburgh (1:00 CBS)
Week 5 - Sunday, October 8 at Baltimore (1:00 CBS)
Week 6 - Sunday, October 15 Jacksonville (1:00 CBS)
Week 7 - Sunday, October 22 Minnesota (9:30 FOX)
Week 8 - BYE
Week 9 - Sunday, November 5 at San Diego (4:05 CBS)
Week 10 - Sunday, November 12 at Detroit (1:00 CBS)
Week 11 - Thursday, November 16 Cincinnati (8:25 NFLN)
Week 12 - Sunday, November 26 Green Bay (1:00 FOX)
Week 13 - Sunday, December 3 at Chicago (1:00 CBS)
Week 14 - Sunday, December 10 Baltimore (1:00 CBS)
Week 15 - Sunday, December 17 at Indianapolis (1:00 CBS)
Week 16 - Sunday, December 24 NY Jets (1:00 CBS)
Week 17 - Sunday, December 31 at Pittsburgh (1:00 CBS)

Wait...what? I don't understand this post....is the schedule above YOUR idea of what it may look like or did you actually see these dates and the listed opponent somewhere? I looked and can't find anything to verify other than pre-season.

I agree with week 17, the Steelers always seem to play the Browns last week of the season.

We seem to always finish with the Steelers...can't wait for the age to come when that game is a meaningful game or possibly not because we both have our playoff standings locked up and will rest starters...lol laugh

Fascinating idea. Good for you!

Can we ask how that is going for travel & accommodations? Never been to London, but this might be an excuse. Not trying to pry, but are packages available or is it all you run down flights, tickets, room, and all? Bon voyage if you pull it off & decide to go!

I've never been either. Admittedly, it may be a bit skewed in terms of pricing. I would be staying, most likely for a week, maybe more. I'm Irish and would head to Dublin and County Mayo, where the family is from. I'd like to go to Scotland too...the English countryside is appealing as well. The flight itself, from what I looked up is roughly $1,000. Lodging hasn't been investigated yet...I'll probably stay in a a place with meager accommodations. I don't need much.

Haha... I should clarify. I'm Irish American. Born and raised in the finest city ever- Cleveland. Re: my profile name...it was just the city I lived in at the time I created my profile on another message board. I'm so creative.

Thanks. That is a great trip you are describing. Appreciate the response. I am Scotch-Irish myself. Well, half. I thought Ireland would be a great add on. County Sligo and Yeats interest me if I get there. At a point where I need to decide what goes in the bucket.

Good luck, and safe travels if you arrange it.

DO IT. Went over about 15 years ago with 3 friends. We rented a car & went from London to Wales to Dublin to the Irish north coast to Scotland and back down to London. I'm dying to go back.

I'll be going as well. Already got my hotel picked out. cool

Also, PDX, I think there was an article saying the London game would be either the 22nd or 29th.

You may want to check with your agent or the airline. When you fly Icelandair, on your return, you can lay over in Iceland for up to a week before you fly back to NY or wherever at no extra cost.

If you can swing the time and the money, you might want to stay in Iceland a few days and check it out.

I HATE opening against the Steelers. Wish it was never earlier than Oct. 1st.

Damn, so we substitute our only chance for a Thursday nighter for England and get ZERO prime time games.

Fingers crossed for that flex . . . rofl

i pay attention to schedules every year ... the steelers always get a back loaded home slate. always

Lose to the steelers to start, and end the year. One game at 4:30, which is one more than last year, and no Thursday night game? I literally thought each team plays Thursday night once.

That is the saddest schedule I've ever laid eyes upon, certainly can't blame the NFL, ha!!!
