To respond to the original post 3 pages back, can you please tell me which years the Ravens won back-to-back Super Bowls? It seems that if you are going to try to talk smack about someone defending their Super Bowl title, you better be the Patriots, Cowboys, Steelers, etc. You know, a team that has actually done it.

As for yesterday, what a loss! I hope all of the players and coaches still on the team after this season file this one away in their memories and remember how it feels. If the losses don't hurt a lot, then you become a team like the Browns....perennial losers.

The original post in this thread was mocking the fact that the Steelers are not going to make the playoffs, much less defend their Super Bowl title. My response to you, oh Ravens fan, is that when your team won its Super Bowl, it did not defend its title either. So what was the point of your original post? Only a few teams in NFL history have defended their Super Bowl titles by winning back-to-back. I pointed out the Patriots, Steelers, and Cowboys as examples of these teams.

I would think that as a fan of a team that focuses on Super Bowls you would understand how the NFL works. When you are having a stretch of good years, you hope to walk away with a ring. When you are having a stretch of bad years, you try to reload for the next run toward to Super Bowl. The Ravens capped off a good stretch in 2000 by winning a championship and then began to decline. One divisional round playoff loss, one wildcard round playoff loss, several years of no playoffs at all. And yet here you guys are ready to make another run at it. Do you expect anything less from the Steelers? We are noe Cleveland. We don't accept losing year after year after year and feel good about it. We get pissed when we lose and get better because of it.
